It wasn’t hate because I flew frigates, it was because I flew interceptors!

To me singularity is still highly OP. This is very evident in T4 (where i fly) and even more in T5 where very often i’m matched even if i got only t4 ships in slots lol…nice MM…

R12 ships (that includes T4 Premiums) are considered T5.

Are u sure…? this sounds a littel bit strange to me…

Anyway r12 ships are not t5 and it’s not nice been matched vs full sinergyzed t5 pilots lol

They can be matched against T5.  I had one battle a week or two ago where my highest rank ship loaded was R7 and on the other team was a low synergized R10.  Try to take it as a compliment.

I’d like to say that the singularity is still OP in 0.8 too…coz of its huge AoE and mechanic…Dera devs there’s still some work to do on this weapon…

Man, interceptors suck now…there weapons require a very good lead indicator to make your shots count. Now its sucks more and I find myself missing 80% of my shots.

Nah, I used to make all my shots with the old indicator. 

 

I was a deadly sun of xxxxx before, now Im a forum junkie that complains during work hours and fights the Sweet Roll addictions when he gets home. 

You could hit your enemies sure, but a lot of the projectiles would miss anyway against other inties/fighters. Or so was my experience.

I use shrapnel on Recons, pulse on CO and My ecms rocking Shrapnel and Pulse depending on role

i tried using shrapnel on my swift 2 recently, couldnt hit the engineer right in my face. gonna try something else now

 

 

1)INTERCEPTORS.i think ints weapons are all quite well balanced, you could say that they all suck or they all have good pros…so it means they are balanced i supposed…

 

2)FIGHTERS. But singularity…no way they are really too OP…

DEVS put slow barrel on Singulariry asap coz they are brutally abused…Once you put the the slow barrel (maybe adjusting speed) singularity will be the antifrigs weapons they are intended to be…

 

  1. Maybe gauss cannons woud need a littel bit buff too

 

4).not sure about ion beam too…I think theer are couple of ways to exploit them, (n2 fed implant + curved reflector etc…)…Maybe a slow barrel on them too…they really look like the old heavy lasers but without slow barrel…

 

5)FRIGATES. Maybe a littel buff on positrons…they r not really viable atm.

Positron not a viable weapon? Lolz… They are great for killing fighters and frigates, and even inties, as long as they are not circling you.

Gauss not a viable weapon? Lolz…They are anti-inty snipers, and great for applying support DPS against larger targets.

What ships do you play mostly? I can tell all what you said is being said from a frigate pilot point of view. Am i right?

I play mainly Ceptors and Fighters and I WANT slow barrels on the Singularities. Getting a face-full of blue balls on an INTERCEPTOR from a Gunship that you’re orbiting isn’t a good experience, considering they’re meant to be anti-Frigate weapons.

Positron and gauss are viable tbh…but simply i don’t use them coz other choices are much more better…And consider i got purple positrons in my warehouse…equipped, tried couple 4-5 matches and any time i switch back to coils or blasters…

 If you don’t like certain weapon, it does not neccesary makes it underpowered, positrons and gauss are devastating weapons if build and used to their advantages

 Ion beams if you max out range you will do crap dmg or vice versa

There is NOTHING better than the Positron on Guards/Engineers. LRFs should be using the Coil Mortar due to the higher RoF. Heavy Blasters are laughable, at best and Beam Cannons are only useful to break Beacon capture on enemy ships all over your beacons.

 

Fighters should have a mix of Singularities, Ion Emitters and Gauss. Despite that, the Gauss should have charges removed entirely, its damage boosted, along with range and RoF reduced significantly. I don’t want it to 1-shot Ceptors, but I want to see something similar to the old Stab Rails. Ion Emitters are fine, but their DPS should reflect the FULL heating damage, not starting dps. Singularities need slow barrels. Non-negotiable. They are an anti-frig weapon and they should’ve kept the slow barrels of the old Heavy Plasmas. Assault Rails are mostly unused because of these 3 guns.

 

And about ion…thrust me some guys can burn your xxxx in 1-2 secs…there’s something to be checked there too

There really isn’t. I tested that weapon extensively on Tacklers and Gunships. If you don’t move out of its way, you die. End of discussion. It’s especially deadly on Tacklers due to the resist debuff and, with the right fit, it is VERY deadly. But nothing out of the ordinary.
