why not learn from war thunder?and for why less and less people play T5

We need more game modes, why not learn from war thunder, to make the fight to three levels, to get more players.

First level, “play for fun”, after the players lock on target, guns auto aim to target, so players only need to lock and fire.

in this case, players can focus on fly, on team works…and this is the best mode for those MMO gamers like EVE,WOW.

Second level, “classic”, just stay what we have right now. it’s good enough for players enjoys right now.

Third level, “professional/expert”, for those expert players, in this mode players have to use “expert” ship control mode but not “basic” that means they only can shot to face side not any where they want, and also means more real game,  and maybe add in some gas control, players will have a energy restriction on their ship, so if they want to keep fly they need to get more energy, just like what we got in free space right now. well this is for those players who like more real games like "Elite: Dangerous“ or “StarCitizen”.

You know, to get more people in the game is not by force someone to play something they don’t like…this may get players together, so looks we get more people, but truth is force players to leave. the right way is get more new players join in.

For T5…why less people play on it. because they got nothing on T5. they can have all the things on T3. so why T5? yes, on t5 we get more income. but also on t3, everything is much more cheap. the time for me to get a fully load T5 ship, I mean everything at least MK4, it’s enough for me to get almost three T3 shipps get to fully load.

As before, we want T5 ships because that can help us easier on PVE… yes i mean to fly T5 in lower mission. before, we fight and pay to get T5 so we can use the more powerful ship to face the same enemies. but now… after we got more powerful ship the enemies get both more powerful shipps and more numbers…

so why to get high? if i stay in T3 i can enjoy everything. the enemies is easy to fight, and the ship is cheap.

BUT PLEASE…don’t use the way that destroy T3 to get players to T5…

Players need temptation…not been forced…that may make players leave…and no new players…and…

at the end… i still don’t understand why block the higher shipps in lower pve…don’t tell me that higher shipps make the other players unhappy, you can just give them an options like “limit ship level”, so they want to enjoy the hard mode…than please… but why force to everyone???

is that any one paid by “Elite: Dangerous“ or “StarCitizen” or “EVE” made that decision…because this really made some of my friends join to those games…

We need more game modes

More stuff is always in work, it just needs its time.

Tier 1: Learn the basic.

Tier 2: Learn teamwork and the use of more modules and play for fun.

Tier 3: Mix of fun and competition.

Tier 4/5: Endgame

T5: SQ and ECM-spam.

That’s about it…

For some reason i’ve really to agree with you, because it’s so damn true.

We have a small enough player base as is, the last thing we need is 3 different modes to split that up even further…

Simple solution:

Give us old MM back!

Increase reward for T4 & T5 that players maybe become more active there.

T4/T5 pay is totally weak when you take repairs into perspective. Many times I am losing more than I am making.

T4/T5 pay is totally weak when you take repairs into perspective. Many times I am losing more than I am making.

And that’s also a reason why average pilots like to avoid high tiers, the repair costs are insane.

I admit I have played 3 days after last patch and it was awesome (T4 is my favorite tier).
I haven’t played recently, because of real life stuff.
I guess it is dead again ? Last few times T4 was revived it was just for 1-2 weeks.

I think the same effect and longer lasting would’ve been achieved by simply separating T4 and T5. Mixed tiers was tested, nobody liked it. Hell, most of the people even complained.

And not to hit a nerve here, but didn’t someone say “Game is released, there will be no major changes from now on” ?

We have 2 options for the game to be revived in T3+.

  1. Get advertisement in line, buy servers and support at least 10,000 people in EU prime time and at least 4K in US prime time.
  2. Rework tiers like 1-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13-16 or something like that. The player base is low enough. Splitting it more and more will not end up in something good. Now even PvE is split into 3, so instead of 6 queues we have 8. Not to mention the invasion redirecting players from the main queue …
So, having 3000 players online. 1000 are scratched off to Invasion right away (but no idea why I see nobody when I change stations). Then the rest are split into small bits.  MM is not telling us where the active people in the current time are playing, so we have to guess.

If I have my T4 loaded and wait 7+ min on que should I go to T5 or T3 ? Where are the people ? Nobody tells you.

More stuff is always in work, it just needs its time.

Tier 1: Learn the basic.

Tier 2: Learn teamwork and the use of more modules and play for fun.

Tier 3: Mix of fun and competition.

Tier 4/5: Endgame

this is a different things…

not for T12345…ok we talk about this late…

first for three levels…

why we need three levels.

because now we don’t have enough people.

why? because so many reasions…but if we increase the game type than we get more people.

just like what i said…the first level is for  MMO players, sencond is for shooting players, third is for pofessional players.

but, for a normal players, he maybe also a heavy MMO players, and a light shooting players…

so, right now he won’t join in the game because he like MMO…but after we make this three kind of game mode…than he will join in because the MMO part, and after that he will try to join in the second level to try. So we got more and more people and each level’s player all get more people to play with…

and I understand that “More stuff is always in work, it just needs its time.”… but just to remind one thing "Elite: Dangerous“ and “StarCitizen” is all on beta, so except EVE for a space game star conflict is the only one that totally opened. but their beta will be end,and get to the same static like star conflict. so right now is star conflict’s best chance to get people in.

EVE is old, "Elite: Dangerous“ and “StarCitizen”  are still too young, so it’s the best chance to increase the game mode and get more players.

OK now for T3 and T5

we can get everthing on T3… but you can get more money on T5 right? but now…the only reason i play T5 is that i played premiun ship only. but i have to say. so the reason i said this is because…we need more people to play with. my friends all stay in T3 pvp…i have to play T5 alone…because they can have all the fun in t3, but nothing more on T5. I really miss the T3 pvp so we got 10 peopel on each side… i really hate to play 2vs2 in T5…what ever i win or lose it’s not happy at all.

What I saw when trying the newb perspective in the game prior to release (0.11 I think I restarted):

T1: Look at the box and shoot wildly whilst praying to Rng

T2: Watch the explosions as new players find out about coil mortars

T3: this is the turning point for most players as the grind will sometimes seem to long and they’ll leave the game (only more devoted players stay)

T4: *crickets*

T5: ECM wins all

Or for summary version:

T1: Go pew pew and pray to hit

T2: players learn of the prediction marker

T3: Inty swarm

T4: Inty infestation

T5: Inty domination

T4/T5 pay is totally weak when you take repairs into perspective. Many times I am losing more than I am making.

I’m making it rain. Stop dying.

How it should be:

First, a definition:

"Basics" of Star Conflict:

  • How to control ships.
  • What missions objectives are and how to complete them.
  • How to use active and passive modules.
  • How to equip a ship.
  • Fundamentals of teamwork.

T1 - Learn the basics.

T2 - Casual play.

T3 - Competitive play.

T4 - Highly competitive and/or lower hardcore play.

T5 - Hardcore play.

As it is, people are routinely getting to T3, T4 and T5 without knowing the basics. This was not happening before under the 4-tier system (or if it was, it was far less frequent).

More stuff is always in work, it just needs its time.

Tier 1: Learn the basic.

Tier 2: Learn teamwork and the use of more modules and play for fun.

Tier 3: Mix of fun and competition.

Tier 4/5: Endgame

T4/5 endgame? If so why there’s 90% total nab population in t5? Make that tier not available if you don’t have at least r11 ships in hangar.

Apart low skill (for that there’s no solution), i constantly see people flying low rank ships to get max sinergy… i’ve seen a captain in an anaconda. -_-’

T1/2: yes, I agree.

T3: end game.

T4: non-existent.

T5: SQ and ECM/ Tackler -spam.

That’s about it…

now it’s right

tier 4 is full of tacklers dropping 2 drones and running away at 700 speed >_>

tier 4 is full of tacklers dropping 2 drones and running away at 700 speed >_>

same as T5

same as T5

Same as sector conquest

T1/2: yes, I agree.

T3: end game.

T4: non-existent.

T5: SQ and ECM-spam.

That’s about it…

Agreed.

Same as sector conquest

Same as everywhere.

Damn, T5 endgame? Hahaha…

There are more nabs than in any other tier, come on, i had today a player in my SQ team who had 4x T4 engys on Syn lvl 1-3 and he didn’t knew how to use auras… <_<
