Ok First off, I really like this game. But im worried about the number of pilots I’ve seen recently, which is less than a thousand. After seeing Black Prophecy go away, which I also liked, Mabe I could make some suggestions to the devs.
Commercials & Promotable Materials - It seems to have worked for World of Tanks, Which regularly sees 20000-30000 a day on servers, at least on US side.
Duxter- It seems new and right now i can’t login so i cant see if its already on there, But its a suggestion.
Sadly, Memes- Memes do keep games in you imagination far more than should be resaonanble for jokes.
But mostly im just trying to offer suggestions.
if anyone else had suggestions for the devs Please post them.
Furthermore there are 2000-2500 players online during the main times.
I would like to know WHO’S main time? I haven’t seen over 1k people online in a LONG time. I can remember when it was between 2500-4000 on all the time. That sadly has dropped WAY off.
The majority of players are Russian, it is a Russian game after all. Play during Russian peak hours. The numbers are dropping, and I’m blaming aim/reticle issues that are being prolonged. Nothing else significant has happened.
But for how long? The number of players is decreasing that reduces the chance to get a good match and gives developers less data to see if a balance change was good or not.

During peak hours the player number is always above 2000 players and even slightly increasing.
I don’t know if that is supposed to comfort anyone especially since you seems to have had at some point more than twice as many players active. The decrease may not be linear and the recent sale probably helped increase the active players slightly.

Now, If you will, look at the date of original post and what day is today.
We have pretty much the same average number of on-line players now as we had back than.
The only time with huge boost to new players was 1st Steam release for some time. Your claims on constant drop of a population based on your own opinion, not on any hard facts.
People come, people go, this product is not finished yet, and until it goes into release there will be no advertisement. Current players base is somewhat sufficient to test most of the stuff in the game, except for proper matchmaking balancer.
The only one who can provide facts are the ones access to the server logs. My own observation, looking at the numbers each night is inconclusive but looking at the number on the weekend, I haven’t seen it at much more than 2000 as the weekend before. But I read in another topic there were much more active players several months.
Why do people complain that most T4/5 matches are with bots instead of players as it was at some point? For me that is an incentive not to progress that far until these tiers have more players (again). I’m far far far from reaching T4 but so are others and the new/more players that join when there is a final release and advertisement are even further behind than I’m at the time. So I have to wait for them to catch up too.
So if I work really hard and get to T4 not only with a ship but also skill. With luck there is a final release by then, then I have wait another few months for T4 to get more/enough players.
There are maybe a stable amount of total players but how are they distributed between the tiers? Is there a major shift to T1/2? Because that is who it sound like from some people that have been with the game for a while.
The logical step would be to wait in my mind. Maybe play a few T2 games once and a while and then when there is a stable/working final release and advertisement, start playing again.
In regular PvP t2 and t3 are well populated, any time of the day, and you get t4t5 games in sector conquest every other 3hours, if you like the game and didnt progress far why stop now? Do you perosanly can not find games? Yes t1-t2 isnt well balanced but still very fun for new pilots , again you can progress to t3 this tier is well balanced in role powers

T2 and T3 are well populated, and queue time is less than 1 min most of the time. Also in PvE the queue is almost instantaneous.
Of course I would like this game had 50k peak players like Warthunder, but devs have said a lot of times that they are not interested in a massive influx of players yet. Once the game is launched, I suppose the warthunder Adds will be changed by Star conflict ads for a while so we will reach about 5000 or 6000 players easy and more afterwards.

I can find games in T2 but they are sometimes really weird matched. The worst one I was in, the enemy was only T3 and we had only 2 guys in our team with T3 ships. I don’t know if that is just trolling or the MM throwing player together from very different ranks because there not enough players online at that time to get a fair match. I’m sure the server admins see that in the logs/game stats of the server.
I don’t mind waiting a few minutes to get a proper match or at least it should ask me if I want to be cannonfodder for T3 before matching me with them.
Except weekends (during daytime) I see usually only around 500 players online, sometimes 700.

I will say that since the introduction of Sector Control … I am seeing in Levels 5-8(T2) and 8-11(T3) where 6V6 or even smaller is becoming the norm between 6pm-11pm East Coast USA time. that may be due to it being 3am-8am Moscow time.
What do you mean with tier system? A Tier is just a descriptive name for a group of ranks and as the name says another tier and where modules/weapons of the previous tier don’t work.
