To the Devs On Player Totals

There is practically no american player base…

But think of it this way, every American interceptor pilot knows how to pilot an interceptor with 160ms+ ping while ESB members complain about 80ms ping being unplayable.

Yeah, we need more American players, please.

Lol, here in the South of America (still America, we do exist), we fly our interceptors with over 250 ping, and many of us do a decent job at it. Truth to be told, It’s goddamn awful to play like that, all the wobbles and that, but you learn to use it to your favour: unpredictability FTW! xD

well, I have not thought of it that way. I can actually manage with 150 ping no problem and keep at the top of the leader boards.

I don’t know why i have this itch to say ‘stop buying consoles then’? xD

I honestly don’t have the slightest clue what that means.

Consoles = Ease of use, plug and play

PC =  A fearless person that is not afraid to tinker around and spend the money for superior hardware

Not true, for two reasons…

A) Have you tried using a modern console? Those things crash more than a 1920s stock market, and I’m pretty sure that in the time it takes for your average game to stop patching / installing and get to the main menu on day of release you could have loaded up a Commodore 64 game.

B) Despite what a very, very annoying minority claim, most PC gamers do not custom build their PCs; they just buy a PC and run games on it. Most PC Gamers are likely running games on machines that are not much better, if they are better at all, than current Gen consoles. Not to mention the fact that playing on a PC involves a whole new level of bullshit, such as compatability issues, hardware requirements, software requirements, your Operating System claiming your game is a virus, your game claiming your Operating System is a virus, your Antivirus claiming your game is a virus, the fact you have to use a keyboard and mouse when a controller is clearly superior, the fact your PC throws a fit when you try to connect a controller, the fact the game won’t recognise your controller, the fact Origin exists and so on and so forth.

Sometimes, playing on Consoles feels like you’re trying to put a nail into a wall using your forhead, but at least with a console you know the nail’s pointing the right way round…

But the point im trying to make is that consoles is for that plug and play aspect. You know that game will work for that console. While the PC, in all aspects is far superior as far as graphics and playability, requires, in general, more knowledge with out that gurrente.

Besides, I dont want to compare the 2. They are built for a specific purposes. Its like trying to compare a volkswagen vs a semitruck

FTFY.  I’m loving my Intel HD 4000 graphics. :Dwop

The bad part (one of them at least) is the large majority of games are now being built for consoles and ported to PCs in an extremely poor and unacceptable manner.

nVidia GTX 780Ti in @2 weeks, huehuehuehue!

I got myself an Asus T100TA 10.1 tablet/netbook that runs on new BayTrail Atom CPU, that thing can handle Starconflict on low-med settings!

As a frigate the US ping doesn’t bother me too much, and my internet is by no means good.

As far as player totals go I usually see a decent population of people about 10 AM - 3 PM CST. So they are out there, just not during peak US hours, where it hobbles along on 500-600 players or less.

But its beta, we are beta testers remember. beta beta beta.

I fly Russian peak from east coast usa at times, my ceptors give me no trouble
