PS : I know that you were speaking about Shield resistance only, just trolling. They nerfed + buff it at the same time.

they didnt buff anything, except implementing the notification icon, only nerfed hull portion

Not sure about it. 

Then why everybody on the forum was thinking that adaptive + strafe = 2 unless you have an insane strafe build.

Btw, it’s possible that the “Improved a number of texts” is also taking into account Adaptive shield, which was like that but with the wrong text ?

I still have to test it, but I think that the hull still have adaptative resistences. Yesterday I was plasma arcing a guard, and after he begun the pulsar, I kicked the adaptatives and the damage was halved.

Because a balance issue like that should have been in the patch notes.

Where and when am I gonna get the GS equivalent to the achievement points I’ve got? You know, that thing at the bottom left of the Achievements box saying:

When they’ll make the reward for achieving a new rank retrospective and remove old t3 passive slots that can’t be buy anymore.

and it looks like no one is getting gold standards retrospectively, and that is how much gold you would’ve had towards your own crew.

 

And speaking of technicalities, crew is not pay to win, because there are multiple ways to get gold standards in the game without paying a cent, so that removes the definition of pay2win, and brings it back into pay2grind less category.

I am. I was wondering why was I getting 10GS per achievement.

And also true. Iirc, you have a chance at getting a few on Sandbox, as well, I’ve seen loot worth, like, 10GS. It’s an infinitesimal amount considering how much everything costs in the game, but works for the purpose of giving Standards, I guess…

 

 

I remember when they first impemented this, and it sounded good and all in writing. But the past few months, most games have been a slaughterfest. I’m personally not great at pew pewing, so I’ve always focused on the objectives because that’s my use. When I get ECM’d, apparently my team loses. Does the algorithm account for time played, because I shouldn’t consistently be placed with a team that has never seen a beacon before [in T3]? Though sometimes I do get a good team, and then WE steamroll the opponent. Very rarely is there a close match.

 

T4 and T5 were combined because everyone liked sitting pretty in T3 so no one ever filled in the rest, right? The problem is that the T5 ships blow the T4’s out of the sky. You’re better off flying a T3 interceptor fully outfitted in T5 and hope for detonation [but then the T4’s never ever get synergy]. Really the only thing that can fix that issue is to convince [the non-hardcore] people to actually move on from T3. I hate to say this [because it finally went away], but could a small Tier overlap between higher T3 and low, non-premium T4, where there is only 1 or 2 T4’s out of 15 per team… [now that I’m typing this it seems matchmaking-unmanagable]. Maybe just make T4 a little more affordable and NOT mixed with T5.

The problem wasn’t that there weren’t enough people in T4. The problem was that there were too many people in T3 and in T5. The problem with T5 ships isn’t the equipment or the pilots, it’s the Implants. The Implants are just ridiculously overpowered, when compared even to Gigas-II.

But the REAL problem is that the devs always pick Occam’s Razor for every solution and it does NOT work for the major issues this game has.

Well, in case they confirm that the adaptatives had been nerfed to ground for no reason… it is time to go back to full empire line up!!

No, he’s no one major.  It’s the ESB “super testers” that might matter.

 

It’s probably just a display error.  I’d be surprised if it was anything other than display.  The game’s had similar issues in the past.

I think it’s implant related. My implants were not working properly yesterday. In hangar i had 1 sec locktime, in battle it was about 2 seconds. Rotation speed implant seemed not to work also. It felt better durring battle after i reassigned the ships to the slots. I think the CREW change makes so that the implants don’t work on the ships that were assigned to slots before the patch. Did you try reassigning your ships? 

 

P.S. I didn’t buy any crews so don’t think it’s about that. I think the ships just don’t have a crew assigned untill you reinstall them in the ship slots.

Yes I also noticed that yesterday.

 

In that case, great ninja nerf, and great ninja BUFF to the recon. Now you can kill fed ships with ease, just drain their tiny shields, and hit their vulnerable hull. At least Jerry ships have enough shield to handle the parasitic modulator.

That’s the end of a lot of “speed” build. I think i can put in the trash my Eagle-b, my kite, my speedyguard Anaconda, my Velo-Trex and so on.
