 Gs for crews and pve insanely hard (just to increase the use of duplicators i guess).

Why it become so hard…feels the number of bots is increased…we tried to kill over 300 of bot on first steps, but still lose, there is too many of them.

I’m the first one to say this, but as an engineer pilot since I joined this game, I have to ask: why nerf engineers? - because that is what you have done by nerfing eclipse.  Haven’t your stats shown you that NO-ONE brings engineers to t5 PVP anymore, because they die so easily?  That was the only way to have a chance of surviving a cov ops attack: go up against a wall and self heal.  Now that’s gone, I don’t think I’ll ever fly andengie higher than t3 again unless in a full squad.

 

Get your priorities right guys.  Buff engineers, or nerf interceptors.  It is too unbalanced atm.

 

Also more P2W mechanics? It is unbelievably greedy and couterproductive to game survival. I’ll say no more.

 

Any update on the dreadnaughts?  Because at the moment waiting for that is one of the only things keeping me playing this game (that and crafting a ship, but for that I can just do my dailies and GTFO, like people have been saying).

I’ve been playing Sector Conquest past couple of days and I’m seeing plenty of Engineers out there. I felt that a good team supporting Engineer is hard to crack.

Yes but they only work in combination with a frigball.  If your teammates are random russians, as is often the case in sector conquest, and they have no idea that sticking together is important, that engineer you have will die in two seconds.

The only way the pay to win ethos could be any more blatant is if they took away the free crew.

Nothing has changed these past 6 months. Absolutely nothing. The developer team’s mentality is the exact same as it was 6 months ago. Uncaring for the community’s feelings and opinions and the zero-tolerance for negative posts is still in effect, apparently. Not to mention there are still no warnings whatsoever when they do that, no reason given, no nothing, it’s just deleted.

 

Now, you want feedback? I’ll give you some. Never, in my life, have I see such uncaring community managers AND developing team in ANY MMO I’ve ever been on. The current dev team treats this game like a crystal piece of art when, in fact, it’s more akin to a paper cut-out of some experiment and Frankenstein-esque collage of other games’ features (looking at Warthunder and World of Tanks, here) and it’s not working. It is my strong belief that feedback isn’t getting put through to the devs properly, the concerns of this specific community (the English forum) are NOT being heard, at all and it shows. It shows in the constant updates that have been done.

 

Beta time is GONE. It’s gone bye-bye. It is now patch 1.0.1, game OFFICIALLY RELEASED, and nothing has changed for the better. Changes are still done in a “test” basis and “let’s see what works”, instead of working out accurate solutions to existing problems. You want examples? So be it:

 

  1. The Matchmaker Punishment. Winning matches doesn’t reward you. It STILL punishes you. HARD. By pitting you against stronger and stronger opponents whilst your own team gets progressively weaker and weaker. This isn’t competitiveness. It’s a slaughterfest. And nothing is done to balance it. Not only that, but I’ve heard they mixed T4 with T5 now? Are you serious? Merging T4 with T5? Really? T5 is still the complete imbalance it was the day it came to life and you decided the best alternative is to merge it with the Tier below it? Whatever happened to fair play? Has the active playerbase declined so far that you’re forced to bring back mixed Tiers again? What happened?

 

  1. Sandbox, Dreadnaughts, The Lie, The Movie. So, Sandbox was viciously declined by the devs (I realize this was vehemently declined by the previous dev team assigned to the game’s development) and now it’s the most publicized feature of the game. Dreadnaughts were also promised back in 0.8, was it? As a means to declare war on other Corps and Corp v Corp Warfare (hence the addition of Artifacts, as well) and it seems like this idea was discarded in its entirety, with the community only having been given glimpses of Dreadnaught designs and not much else. So, what’s the deal with these two features again?

 

  1. Crafting supreme. While I do thank the addition of a crafting system, the craftable ships… Are anything but good. They are basically a free reign on what you want to do with VERY extreme consequences. Now… I’ve only returned since Monday, but just LOOKING at those 3 ships made me facepalm because, in five minutes, I had come up with a way to make all three of them nigh-unbeatable. The Gunship is just ridiculous if you put the right layout, the Engineer is ludicrous, even more-so than Federate Frigates and the ECM is just… It’s sad that the game has progressed so little in such a long span of time. As for the modules… Mk V were supposed to be a special reward for winning tournaments or events of some kind. This. Is ridiculous due to how specific the modules are. They are very specific modules for very specific ship roles. This is not the way to do things, you cannot just had a small portion of the modules and hope for the best. It’s as if you’re saying “hey, these are the things we want you to use”. No. That’s NOT how you work. WE choose what to put in our ships, not you. I also saw the aimbot STILL exists in the game and am incredibly saddened to see it. Why? Because the cooldown is ridiculous. Ridiculous as in, VERY LOW. And, as an excuse to maintaining the module’s existence, the best alternative was to reduce Overdrive on Gunships? Again and again and again, I and many others keep saying that Occam’s Razor is NOT the way out of any predicament.

 

  1. Community. Yes, we’re all xxxxxxx. No, none of us care about the game’s future, that’s why we’re still playing it. I’m sorry, sarcasm is VERY hard to convey over the Internet. And I’m being sarcastic because it’s the truth. Sort of. We are the unheard voice. We are the baby that cries for food that never comes. We are the woman that cries bloody murder and no one comes to help. We are simply… ignored. Tell me. What game survives when its very community, what makes the game EXIST is left unheard? The community, the game’s lifeline, leaves. Prove me wrong on this.

 

 

Oh, and if the post gets deleted due to hubris, I fully expect a PM stating specifically WHY it was deleted. If I see this gone, I will paste it back in until that question is answered. If there is ONE thing in this messed up planet I do not tolerate is censorship. I became a game reviewer for some reason. So that, not only mine, voice would be heard. Negative posts have as much weight as positive ones when they’re not bashful or outright offensive. I fully expect this post to survive for longer than 1 hour. Otherwise, you know what’ll happen. Was it debuff/buff or assist/kill? Debuff/buff don’t work even in PvP, but if it’s assist/kill then it’s a problem.

So far nice patch. Can anyone post the visual new features of the premium ships?

Let me get this straight.

 

Additional “crews” can only be unlocked if I pay 2,000 GS for each additional one?

 

This marks the first time in Star Conflict’s history where items that directly influence ship statistics are locked behind a pay wall. Unless I am missing something very subtle, you can’t earn these crews through grinding, or pay with an exorbitant amount credits. You must pay with cold hard cash, or do without.

 

And if you’re going to argue “Well everyone has access to Crew Alpha! It hasn’t changed the game at all!”, you clearly aren’t considering the impact this will have on Sector Conquest or Tournaments. Players who pay for 4 separate implant setups for each of their ships will have a considerable advantage over players who don’t, as that game mode forces players to use all 4 of their combat slots.

Since GS can be gathered from sector conquest, how long would it take to save up 2k GS assuming you’re in a corp in control of a GS sector?  I’m not surprised it’s GS only.  The next step is adding hot swap modules for ships like people have also been requesting for over a year.

 

just did a pve daily mission and laughed my arse off. They also changed bot behavior in pve Mission. Almost dead bot gets shot at, does a roll into wall and explodes. Insert star Fox reference here: do a barrel roll.

 

Now every bot does something like a roll once shot at. I actaully think this is a significant increase in difficulty of pve missions.

 

Not only, that you have the little rascals with perfect aim swarming everywhere, no, now they’re rolling all over the place. This makes them really anoying to take out with certain types of weapons.

I don’t like those changes.

The do the same thing in Invasion.  Take an ELRF and nick a ship from 8km away and watch them dance.

For round three, you could stay low and avoid all the turrets and focus on the bots until they were wiped out and wait for the next respawn time.  While the bots were all dead you could focus on the turrets or healing.

Was it debuff/buff or assist/kill? Debuff/buff don’t work even in PvP, but if it’s assist/kill then it’s a problem.

Sadly, all changes are cosmetic, nothing innovative, just adding some “extra” content or “options” to squeeze more money. And they will continue doing so until  everybody leaves. Same thing happened with Forge.

My opinion in general is that the patch is good. but I have only one problem with the system crews. I understand that players who pay him and give advantages but this presents a huge advantage. I think at least there should be a way to get the second crew would like 10kk of credits or even more expensive.

No, what we need isn’t a crew  = one implant layout affected to some of the 4 ships slots.

If you can change combat slots for free, it can effectively become that.
