why dont we make the ALL the delveopers, managers, and even the CEO play the game for 24 hours on new accounts. They might open there eyes on how to truly fix the game and reaslise that the major suggestions that are asked over and over should be implemented.

my response? -
bro - it should be obvious now they aren’t gamers
this… even if they played the game, they wouldn’t be able to interpret the message…
I’ve come here to say I don’t much care for the changes introduced with the latest patch that reveal, at all times, the location of the bomb.
During my research of this new feature I believe it is the developer’s response to multiple complaints of people hiding the bombs out of sight. While I agree that strategy may be bad sportsmanship when used for long periods of time, it is easily countered by Recon ships actively doing their job using spy drones or simply scouting around.
I believe this new “feature” robs Recon pilots of this role, and I believe it robs players the opportunity to counter a strong defense with a sneak attack.
Please Star Conflict Team, reconsider this decision.
…I’m one of those who spend quite a bit of money on it - partially because I needed to in order to form a corporation and partially because I simply wanted to show some support for the game. This was before 0.9.0 I would add. I have the financial means to not really worry about what I spend on my gaming activities IF I had the desire to spend more money;
I’d pay good money for my corporation logo in the game.
I’d pay a lot of GS to paint all my ships, if I was able to do so permanently as I am lazy and don’t want to repaint my ships all the time.
…However, the latest changes (squad size reduction specifically) have gone directly against what the community has asked for. I know - because I compiled a chunk of the feedback that was send to the developers - a huge document detailing exactly what people asked for with links to all topics supporting these suggestions.
As a result, I am extremely reluctant to spend any additional money, even though I desperately want to see this game succeed. The only way I feel comfortable spending more is if and when I have the feeling that the developers are genuinely working on changes that the community has actually asked for - and are man enough to admit to mistakes and revert them before they become bigger issues than we can deal with.
Agree on all points, especially the last one. I also deposited to create a corp - and expand slots.
A poll regarding the squad changes needs to come up ASAP. And I sincerely hope that gaijin listens to the results.
Also, as a bug note - or perhaps it was intentional though I don’t know why it would be - has anyone else noticed that the positron cannon is completely silent now? I wouldn’t think that would be intentional.

A bomb carrier is more vital than a captain. It’s a needed fix in many situations. Yes, I love planting, and I help with the run around the map.
Two options fix the issue, stations have vision, or bomb carriers are always visible. Visibility makes more sense.

Agree completely. The game should reward teamwork, and this requires that ships like recon ships do their job. If a new player as a recon doesn’t understand their role and doesn’t pop a locator beacon or attach spy drones, the response should not be to give everyone god vision on the bomb. The proper response for the developers is creating a tutorial that explains the importance of the roles to the teams, explains why recon is vital to the rest of the team, etc. And the proper response of the community is to invite the guy into your squad, play with him a bit and show him the ropes.
Developers, please stop taking away the need for teamwork and the importance of roles. Please start adding the features that will make this game better and more enjoyable (such as that tutorial) instead of taking away features because inexperienced players complain about what they don’t understand.
And the squad size change killed ESB kill squads. Boom heashot. They’re so utterly toothless now, it’s almost comical. All the threats about “making more killsquads and owning entire tiers” ended up being an empty bluff as predicted.
Sadly medicine ended up being worse than the disease. The volume of people unhappy about not being able to make 4 man squads is huge.
We see that the situation is not pleasing our players and are working to improve it.
however, why is it grey? that is misleading, it should be red… or blue if your team is holding…
and why is it covering the ship?.. :\
Common sense tells that it is a BUG
About bomb vision, while i believe there could be found a balance on reveal of a carrier, especially when they run off the map and come from somewhere that you had no options to find him, while in same time if the carriers manages to sneak a bomb through the map, while using cover to hide him self than i am up for not revealing these.
provide vision of the bomb, but not vision through rocks…
oh but then, any time you go around a rock the reach the next one, you will be visible.
so technically, i don’t see how to make this work. unfortunately.
oh and then we’re back to the same problem of being able to hide behind a rock at the edge of the map.
I agree that vision through rocks should not be. However, if a recon attached a spy drone or popped a locator beacon that can see on the other side of the rock, it makes sense to me that the beacon would relay the coordinates to the HUDs of friendly fighters.
So, as I stated before, the answer is in players learning from experience on how to benefit the team as a recon pilot by providing visibility in areas they otherwise wouldn’t be able to see - the definition of reconnaissance. If a recon ship is not doing his job and there are no friendly ships with direct line of sight to the target within sensor range, that’s not a game mechanics problem, that’s an experience and teamwork problem. And as I stated here, [http://forum.star-conflict.com/index.php?/topic/20981-star-conflict-obt-v091-discussion/?p=219397,](< base_url >/index.php?/topic/20981-star-conflict-obt-v091-discussion/?p=219397,) the proper remedy as I see it is to help new players learn the game by teaching them instead of leaving them ignorant and then removing game features that they don’t understand.
To be Honnest your New Patch Sucks Star Conflict Dev!
Dev you guys are thinking now more Monney then what Players want from the game and you are Killing the Fun from playing this game that way you guys will lose more Monney then earn it!
