seriously r u fin xxxx now tank is fin usless consider defending againdst more than on ship ur f.ked not even mentioning defending against ion blaster and singulariy canon one steals 100 points of resist the oher u have a base of -60 resist and wow u have a shield that u can switch to get extra 150 res so f.cking what  if us switch to termal the plasma wil rape u if u switch to plasma the laser will rape u good job r&d xxxx lets make guar not able to defend itself and oh one more think lets debf its main weapon coli morta why not seriously who f.cking jired u xxxx to balance this game cuz u have no f.cking clue what ur doing

Uhh,no guard has -60 in anything unless you are running a bunch of -shield resist items.

Also,if you know how to pace your engagements,it makes guards BETTER.

I noticed this too. Ships are at the same level as before.

I also have 10% fleet bonus but have yet to play a game to see if it changes received ammount. Too busy working…

Well, played a lot of games today, both in PvP as in PvE, and still, there’s no bonus synergy from the “Fleet Strength”. Anything above 20% should be easy to notice, yet nothing has changed. Hope this is fixed soon, because not only seems like a good reward for those that worked hard to synegize all their ships, but also because it reduces the grinding.

By the way, someone took an screenshot of how much synergy you used to need for “Elite” (doesn’t matter which ship) and how much do you need now? Seems like it isn’t that big of a difference as the patch note said.

Antibus…pulse laser for interceptors was nerfed with aproximatively 25% in damage. Though…no description about this in the update description…how is that?

Cooling timings were changed.

 

On example:

Before it was shooting for (just example!) 3,5 sec and cooling down for 2 sec, now it is shooting for 3 sec and cooling down in 1 sec. This changed has increased the effective shooting time, thus could have increased the overall DPS. To balance this out the damage output was lowered a bit.

Long story short: overall DPS is the same.

 

My guess is they nerfed synergy gains so that the “normal” gains assume you have maxed out most / all of the ships prior to that tier.

Hmm, so it’s probably not working. I played a couple matches as well, and i didn’t receive more synergy then the last few days before the patch.

 

How about a hotfix on the issue devs?

Let me explain this: Fleet strength mechanics was working for sometime already (we have added them in last patch - to test its work), mechanics work properly, and in this patch we have added the interface to them. So all of the players who have been complaining about synergy reduction were just experiencing the work of the system already. Try to compare your synergy output to this of a new player without Fleet Strength.

 

Another ninja nerf is on the Static Barrier.

 

The description says that now it has a limited durability. In the Dreadnought PvE, I dropped a Mk2 barrier with my Grizzily-M, it last less than 10 sec when a Captain Elite shot it with its overcharged railguns.

It is not ninja nerf at all, it is a bugfix. Now Static Barrier works as intended. 

 

Question: What was changed with the recent hotfix? I were doing others things, then when I came back to my PC I found that Steam downloaded a 3.7MB patch at 05:58 GMT-4

PS: I didn’t see it in this thread, so excuse me if it’s already explained somewhere else.

 

There was no hotfix, most probably some Steam update glitch.

The amount of synergy needed to advance from last synergy level to Elite ship was reduced. Not overall synergy requirements.

 

There were no reductions in synergy gain.

Ah, yes explains it. There was a patch, where the synergy gain whent up. Then that was the fleet strength working in the Background. Ok, nice feature, but still would be nice to have everything you change in the patchnotes.

 

Overall a nice Patch. MM still Needs some work, or the game needs more Players. Antibus, are there plans to start Advertising soon?

More info - there were stability problems detected, the hot fix was installed in order to fix them.

Anti, you still haven’t answered my question on page 8… What happens to customization options when we sell a ship? I mean, I can already predict the answer, but I’m hoping I’m wrong and didn’t just throw money out the window…

And how exactly are we meant to do that? Get a new player to buy a Licence, Buy a Premium Pack so he has the same DLC ships I do, and then have him perform near-identically to me so we can see what he earns compared to what I do?

 

I’d be inclined to believe this answer where it not for the fact that A) the perceived synergy gains I’ve experienced are consistent with removing the synergy cap, which is the announced change that sparked the increase, and B) the Devs didn’t have such a terrible track record of lying to us.

Put it in your damned thread on Videos and Screenshots, stop spaming EVERYWHERE.

 

The reason behind it is being about showing you the update so you can save time without having to read everything. I think as it is related to the topic I can post it here, if the forum admins tell me not to I will post it only in the videos section.

Well, you could try making a new account. Shouldn’t take long to test, just fly one PvE game with R1 ship on your main, and one on your alt and see how much difference there is. I think new account gets a free license. Back in my days it was 7 day, I think now it’s one day only?

If you have any stickers bought from time before the change, you can test that for 5% of ships’s cost in credits. Just apply the sticker for free, sell the ship and buy it back. Shouldn’t be too bad with T1 prices.

Except I sold all my ships and haven’t really gotten to playing the game again, seeing as I’m at work… You know… People that work…

Are the synergy changes only supposed to apply to the current level?  I only had one ship that I could instantly upgrade it’s synergy level.

 

I’m unsure about the guard changes, I loaded up my Crus S with a 6/9 synergy level and I think it’s survivability went up by about 1k.  That’s not really a nerf.

 

There’s no mention of the engineer drones change, but I found some in PvP and it’s easier to kill them with any weapon now, a great change.

 

It’s good to see that CovOps and ECM did not get nerfed, except I’m grinding recon right now.  I’ll still complain about the speeds until we stop hearing “working as intended” like with coil mortars.

 

I still need to check over stuff in game.  The hud changes I don’t really like honestly.

 

It was amusing to see Raymaru complain about 120ms ping being horrible.  A 120ms ping to RU servers is impossible for me.
