It’s beautiful how you distort the fact that NEW players (people that have JUST created their accounts), enter the game, make a squad (a damn logical choice based in how every MMO is) only to find themselves against higher rank, higher tier and better equipped ships with players that have more experience than them and have better understanding of the game, regardless of an idiotic stat called “Skill Rating” that doesn’t show ACTUAL skill in anything.
Nah, they must be DSR farmers, right Kostyan? Yeah, screw new players, they deserve to be prey just because they choose to squad up in their first game and farm a stat that they don’t even know that exists, they’re abusing the game, PUNISH THEM!.
I think you’ve missed one of my post earlier:
I absolutely agree that new players should not fight new players in higher tiers just because they are in squad, average team work of such a squad is equal or below of random pug.
But skilled players can compete in higher tiers, as an example we were doing 4x man T1 NASA squad, leveling ships, we were put against r6s most of the time, result? 90% win rate, we even won Capture the beacon vs T3 3x man squad back then.
T1 should be soft locked, players that enjoy having no challenge like Cry to the Max still should be pushed out of t1.
And by “Cry to the Max” i mean a player that keep complaining that his full purple T1 ship gets matched vs T2 or when he plays with his brother in a squad of 2 and tehy full purple T1 ships are not matched vs other T1 ships.
The game needs a “locking” system made up out of sheer stats. You’re new to the game? Less than 100 matches? You’re forbidden to leave T1, but also you will NEVER face anything higher than Rank 3 in your PvP matches. That way the n00bs can TRAIN and LEARN without being blown to hell every 5 seconds. And a “lock” like that should be in T2 also, because we all agree that T1 is the “Flight and Fight” tutorial while T2 is the “Customization” tutorial. Let the new pilots learn in FAIR matches according to their NON-EXISTANT skill level.

Mabye 25 matches is better…100 is like 16 hours of game time non stop…

T5 is matched from T3 to T5 if solo and T4 to T5 in group.
Eng game tier benefits of reaping lower tier people, while starter tier are farmer from day 1 until they go to t5.
No wonder we see so many tier rushers. People see it like I said up there and want to get to T5 asap, so they will not be farmed. Although they can not get the flying skills and still are getting farmed cause of having T5 ship and <800 dsr.
And other people just quit WITHOUT SPENDING A CENT FOR THE GAME because in few days they have their first t3 ship and see they are farmed in T1, T2, T3 and assume it will be the same for the next 2 tiers.

It’s really sad, but that’s how it works. And I don’t know how they achieve this, I mean, I was never in the “TOP” team raping the others, but always in the raped one. That is fomenting Tier rushing, no one likes to be abused of.

Quite sad to see that IMO. If these things are not fixed, imagine the full release? It probably WON’T be a releasable
Seriously, Black Prophecy had these problems and look where they are, GONE.
This is something that, as has been said, fixed tiers would fix. When you get a pure blue rank 3 ship you would stay in T1 and get to enjoy the rewards of being top of your tier. It encourages mastery, slowly building up your roster to be as powerful as possible, and it gives clear plateaus of achievement.
When your reward for getting R3 ships is to be matched against T2, there is no reward. There is no incentive to tech up or to master your tier. It pushes you to rush to Rank 15, and only THEN to tech up and learn to play, because only at Rank 15 are you safe from being shoved up tiers.
This is what the Developers do not understand and never address.
I don’t know, I’ve seen ppl with Rank 15 (lightbringer, spectre falcon, jarl, etc) ships and 10/10 sinergy, in xxxx PvE!!!
they had every ship sinergized and they kept playing PvE… guess why? because they had les than 1k games, almost no vouches, and less than 1k DSR…
the hell is wrong with them?
Oh, but that’s something I see everyday: Fully synergized T5 ships in PvE, with pilots that still DIE to the Punisher Boss’s Pulsar because instead of taking cover and being out of LoS, they choose to RUN away in straight line or use the portable warp of their engineers. It’s so sad.
HOW THE HELL CAN YOU GET TO T5 SO QUICK!? Cause I seriously dont understand how you can do it?
And why would you want to get to T5 with anything LESS then Mk3 items!?
Get 1 Empire line to 15,
Get 1 Federation line to 15
Get 1 Jericho line to 15.
Farm vouchers, get T5 Mk3.
Skip T1-4.
…
…
Profit.
That is the general idea of the new changes. So with enough real life money anyone with deep pockets will have at least 3 T5 Mk3 ships and T5 will be full with people with <200 matches, but still full blue.
