Point is even if you aim exactly on the “circle” you often miss. At this point just increase all projectiles speed and remove it at all… 

Actually, is there any option to disable the reticule at all? Its just confusing atm. Still im good enough with some weapons to predict the shots.

Its all about tactics. I’m a RTS gamer at heart. I know the weaknesses and strengths of all the ships. A good tactician notes what he has, his team and formulates a good plan. 

 

The problem is to make the other retardeds listen to what you say, contrary to an rts, where the computer obeys you flawlessly. :smiley:

Holy balls, that is terrible. I thought the point was to make the reticle MORE VISIBLE?

Reticle is cosmetics, you can buy a visible reticle skin for 5000 GS next patch. :lol:

But seriously - Antibus please listen and pass this feedback onto the ‘Devs’ … PLEASE CAN THEY SORT OUT THE RECPTICLE AND LAG ASAP’ or more players will leave very soon

Weird i have no lag in game, nor did i have it in last couple of weeks. Granted i play mostly when there are about 700 people online.

Well Ive played one game … Yet another patch with very little focus towards what the players of the game (Your customers) actually want, or need … Infact they have gone the opposite of what was asked with the aiming recpticle … I am not allowed to post my thoughts on this though as would involve lots of foul language :facepalm: :facepalm: :facepalm:

 

I will repeat this though - Are there any game rules prohibiting the customisation of the HUD client side ?

Unfortunately yes or I’d have changed it long ago. You’d either have to modify the reticle graphic in the client files or modify it during runtime, both of which is prohibited.

To be fair the reticle does lite up when the target is in range. It’s just a super super light color when the target is out of range of the weapon. Makes it hard to guess direction etc. Adaptive cammo for EVERYONE! Lol

So I then change my question - Game Admins / Devs - If you are not willing to listen to the players (Your customers) who have asked for a very small change to assist them whilst playing, Please can we be allowed to customise the HUD ourselves ? If the answer is no - Please explain why this is the answer.

But thats not the real problem. The indicator is broken. Even if you exactly aim for the reticule you will miss in most cases.

I cant wait to drop in with my CO, and decimate everyone. With these changes, it might make the game more “interesting”

Hmm… For some reason, I can confidently say the aiming reticle (the one on the enemy) is slightly off… It seems to be missing alot, even though i’m right on the center constantly, and up close. I’m talking about weapons like the plasma gun and gauss cannon (which I have tried), even missiles seem to fire off target in scenarios previously would’ve hit. Any secret little changes or something? Or have I become one of those complainers?  :sad:

Missiles velocity was changed I remember reading it somewhere so they will miss more often on a target using evasive maneuvers.

But color apart … the target pointer now is just disorienting… withouth it you can aim better… but offcourse than u can’t use modules…

 

Don’t take me wrong i’m very happy about the aim skill required increase… but let me aim withouth distractions :smiley:

I even have a better Idea, you get the old reticle back (with that aim) as a booster. Costs only 500 GS for 5 battles.
