Which brings me back to my first point: small beta playerbase. And the rest is up to you, do you want to be a family style corp or do you want to compete in corp vs corp battles? If the latter, recruit accordingly. It works in every other game out there so why not here?
It’s not what I want to hold them to. I’m simply speculating based on observation and other people’s accounts. Designing an awesome system nobody will use is an exercise in futility. To me, personally, the key issue lies in the fundamentally unfair nature of Wings putting small wings vs larger wings. The Devs clearly agree if they’ve lowered the wing cap.
No, they have lowered the cap because there is not enough people to fill a wing. As Snib said, in WoT clan wars battles are 15vs15, and almost every evening if you want to keep your territories. And battles are fought everyday, and clans keep the territories. In my clan we were about 30 guys playing clan wars. Not everyone could play everyday, but most of the time we had enough people to fill a battle. If not, well, you lose your territory, because if you play 12 vs 15 you are in a clear disadvantadge. Good luck next time.
So I would prefer that after the release and when we have enough influx of players with T4 and above ship rosters, wings come back to 12 players, and most likely stay on that number (maybe 8 - 12 so nobody can complain about, but everyone will try to fly in a full wing)
you lot need to relax and instead persuade the devs to add in a feature in the settings to turn the efficiency notifications back to the old way so we can see what is going on when we kill or assist something
I personally think they should cap wing sizes at 6 and then go at 12 at release to compensate for the low player base.
Go watch the WPK vs all-comers match. Despite being outnumbered, WPK conceded a single kill and slaughtered the opposition. Clearly, WPK has pilots who can handle lop-sided games.
That was a slightly outnumbered match against a random group and not clearly organized. As for the actual game play in that match, I’ve already stated what I witnessed. I wasn’t impressed by skill or strategy. It was just sit back and farm the rushers.
So far, it looks like only six corps have flown in wings. ESB, PDX, SRS, OTr, SR2, and “Nobody can hide” who were the first along with ESB. They should get a prize just for being so willing to try it.

There’s been multiple times that we’ve had 15+ people queued for SecCon since the introduction of wings, but nobody wants to play with the big boys
We also need the actual possibility to get purple loot rather than just artifacts…

there is a possibility to get a purple loot, what are you talking about

As in actually obtain it, not just get artifacts for it. because I’ve never gotten a purple loot from the current system.

you can have an mk4 (I.E. purple) upgrade from a loot spot, you either can disassemble it on the spot for artefacts or you chose to pay some credits and take it into the hangar, so if you have a module of this type you can upgrade it from mk3 to mk4 using this purple drop.
Which brings back the questions: why do i have to play PvE?

You don’t have to.
You don’t have to.
Except for some missions.
too bad in PVE you dont get to CHOOSE what purple module you get! That would be awesome!
You don’t have to.
Yes i do. Leave the pointless arguments behind pls.

Tell me one reason why you must do PvE, except for one of two assignement missions.
Match-maker got changed again? Currently seeing T3 r8/r9 premium squads get thrown into battles with T4 r12 randoms.
I rarely do PVEs, and i dont even care about getting that daily purple drop from PVE. With the time it takes to do 1 pve solo, with 3 nobrainers on the group is enough to do 2-3 PVP matches in some cases, and usually net more artifacts or purples than doing that PVE. Thats if you manage to complete the PVE with the nobrainers.
It is only good to do that daily PVE IF you have a GOOD reliable 4 man squad ready to destroy that PVE level in 5 mins. HEHHEHHE.
Seriously revert that MM change. T4 is zero fun with all the T3 best-back-to-PVE squads synergizing their r7 LRFs in there. Had a T4 9v9 beacon hunt with 6 T3 LRFs on my team. AFK’ed in a corner, no point to play atm.

Yes and No …LOL if that is even an answer.
Just the other day I went SOLO for 15 games of Blackwood PVE playing with randoms and came out on the winning side 14 out of the 15.
Now I may have been lucky that at least one or two of the same players were in about 60% of those games. Averaging 600-700K per game is a NO brainer. Not sure you get that amount in a PVP game.
