Nowadays I started leveling my jerry LRF line, and even though most of the guards have AMS in T2/low T3, it’s on a long cooldown with short protection duration. So if my torp gets intercepted, i know the next will hit. It should be more a toggled module, maybe with a huge energy requirement, with moderate cooldown? So you are protected, if you want, but you can’t really fly around with it using AB or other modules. Or it could restrict i don’t know 40% of your max energy.
I think i will post this in suggestions.
What AMS needs imo, is:
Range reduction to 1000-1500m
Cooldown reduced about 1/3rd
And I still dont get it, why PPL use that UP Jerry-LRF…

Well, so far I’m doing well with the Ira Deus. You exchange durability for short range DPS in comparision with an empire LRF.
Mostly because in gunship mode I use the torpedo as a heavy missile. Shooting a guard with positrons and then loading tachyon charge and smash him with a torpedo two seconds later is pure gold.
Of course as pure snipers they are worse than empire LRFs, but as a heavy gunship in a frigball, they are quite enternaining. I suffered a lot with the templar AE (mostly because of the lack of a 4th active module) but the Ira Deus is quite nice. I’m enjoying it so far.

And why? Because it’s fun! And if played right, they are pretty effective too, not as snipers ofc.

Yes, (most) mail attachments are collected automatically now.
ok but I can’t see anything…for example when you open the game you receive a certani amount of credits…now I haven’t. The game doesn’t collect anything! Where I have to write this? Or to whom…
It should be added to your account automatically. You don’t get messages for contracts, etc. anymore. Whenever you should get something, it is just added without you noticing. The only exception here is the rewards in Sector Conquest. You still get notfications for that. Otherwise, no more messages / attachments.

Do you use weapon overcharge or IR pulsar? I can’t decide if a second LRF module would be more helpful than a third survival module.

I use weapon overcharge, tachyon, Shield resistances and shield booster. IR pulsar and the cloak modules can be useful too, but I prefer to have both LRF modules in case I need to stay back and just snipe.

I tend to fly with Cloak, Overcharge, Shield Resist and Booster. Similar results with the added troll features of spaming Mortars from behind a rock at random enemies and they don’t even know wtf is happening until they see me on the death screen.

I move around too much to make good use of the EM field. But mortars are really fun without or without cloak, since I have a RoF of 140. It’s completely different from the weapons my other ships use (gauss, shrapnel, positrons).
The new Eff. Points distribution is not very fair. Actually It promotes Egoism and not Teamplay.
It is worse with buffer/debuffer ships, in PVE (if I take a buffer) I deal NO DMG. on purpose, to get at least the 10 pts buff assist, instead of getting measly 5 pts. for a kill/dmg assist.
Kill/Dmg assists have to be ADDED to the buffs/debuffs: So if I dmg a ship I debuffed I get Debuff assist + Dmg Assist Points.
Since what is happening now, is, that everyone grabs a damage dealers (see Jerry-LRF-creep-in).
Result: classes getting unbalanced Eff. Point. wise.

The worst part is they didn’t even try to leave their Spawn, I had to bring my team to their Spawn, and Start a Siege battle.
12 Minutes… I spent 12 minutes tryharding to finally bring the victory. It’s not funny at all.
The Styx need to be nerf (Nerf and/or Moved to rank 8).

Many of us said this already, anyone listening i wonder? Are suggestion threads read by anyone relevant? Antibus, any development on this situation? You said many times that the devs are working on a solution, any progress?

Support for this! When i fly command i’m always among last ones in efficiency chart…When i fly a gunship i’m always among efficiency top player…This has to be fixed asap
Too many lrf now. Playing solo is pure pain…being matched with storms of lrf.
