Too many players were confused and thought that they would get grey+green numbers, so we decided to show only the final values.

 

Well, but the green number show me the bonus i have, and i like this. Put back in next update plz, or make a option to show

Well we cannot help the fools out there.  Put it back and don’t cater to the lowest common denominator.  That will ruin a game if they continue doing it repeatedly.

Personally I enjoyed being able to see the total bonuses I was receiving, it allowed me to tweak the ship just that little bit more.  Even 1-2 points can mean victory or me cussing at the stupidity of others, and then I realize I did something wrong.

 

Another though I just had…

If you put it back could you add another screen that we could display that would show where all the bonuses are coming from.  Item by item listing of the bonuses would be good since it would let us know if a module or implant is not working as intended.

 

Also I believe that implants are currently not working.  My resists are not as high as they should be.  The bonus resist to shield resistances are not being added in.

Yeah for me the new patch that came out kind of ruined the factions alot. Now everyone has everything, the ship I used to play cause of preference have other ships abilities and only 4 insted of 6 guns and all.

Yes I might sound like a crybaby who dont like change, but the fact is that having factions that doesnt do anything is pretty lame.

Now everyone can use phase shield, camelion, drones and so on. Personally I dont like this change. It makes the game less fun when its equal for everyone insted of skill based fun. Now everyone is strong at everything and that makes this more… bleeh…

 

Take Planetside 2 as an example. The 3 factions there got their own unique stats and such. One are heavy hitters but got slow rate of fire, other is the other way around, and the third is balanced to be weaker than the heavy hitters but faster rate of fire than them too.

 

This game becomes more and more unbalanced even though they are balancing it alot.

Its sad… I really enjoyed this since most Space games on PC now days got only fighters that you can play or are click and point games…  :c

also the fact sector controll is arcade. is really sad. really really sad.

If they had created new maps or better yet, the old maps plus about 5-6 new maps to be sector specific.  I.E. specific map would only be available while battling over a specific sector, and make sure each was unique.

 

Now we get arcade matches under a new heading and can still play arcade.  Seriously Devs, did you think this thru completely and logically? 

 

If you want to make players feel like they are fighting for something make each area special.  Maybe Federation, Empire, and Jericho sectors to follow a specific theme or even just a similar look and feel to them.  Not give us the exact same maps under a new selection.

I think a bigger problem is that now that ships don’t have access to armor resists and healing universally, you end up with some ships being almost unkillable while other just pop. Leading people to fly only a few kinds of ships. On top of that the roles and modes they can just are just poorly thought through. For example, why wouldn’t the sniper and the guard be the same ship? 

 

Change the mods back to being universal so that a player can CHOSE to play a ship in a particular manner. Forcing the roles on ship only make players top using ships that cant be reliably soloed. WHy does my gunship have 4 active module spots and only 5 modules to chose from?

 

The game is much more enjoyable when you can play the meta in building your ship rather than just upgrading the mods when u get a new one to drop.

Why should “soloing” be a concern for the devs? The game is designed to be a team game. The devs have made this very clear. Furthermore, there isn’t a game mode that I know of where you can queue up for solo battles.

Excuse me, is there any way we can have the red/green stats back under some kind of “show advanced tooltips” option?

Dedicated frig pilot my xxxx. All I flew was frigs and IMO this patch has made them op, which translates to more kills and awesomeness.

Why not? Frigate is just a class like the two other, they dont cost more or something… what is your justification to that comment other than that you like to fly FRIGs and in your book they should be the be-all-end-all ship, taking on multiple ships of whatever class and win.

 

If the only way to beat FRIGs is to bring more FRIGs of your own, this falls into the category of OVERPOWERED (IF, the only way to beat something is to outnumber it with it self = OVERPOWERED)

 

FRIGs were beaten by CEPTORs which were beaten by FIGHTERs which were beaten easily by FRIGs in return, this is called balance not the crap we have now with “ROLES”.

The simple reasoning is that frigates are large Heavy duty ships.

If they dont have the survivability vs a Interceptor, its gets kind of pointless. Why bother flying … actually why bother designing and building a big heavy ship if it offers no advantages.

 

Small fast ship = low assault and low health.

mid size ship = medium armor moderate hitting power.

Large slow ship = Heavy armor & heavy hitting.

 

2/3 interceptors should be able to take out a frigate

1/2 fighters should be able to take out a frigate

1/1 frigate should be able to take out a a frigate

 

This is just common logic, how can you fail to see that.

Wow no that really sounds stupid doesn’t it. Because they are different.

Dont think you can find a balance as long as people are allowed to choose whichever ship they want to, the only way to balance that is to make you choose your ship prior to the queue, like healer, tanks, dps in WoW, only then can you really get a proper balanced game… OR revert back to 2 month ago when it was 10x better and skillfull.

I will pick either engineer or used to pick guard depending on how the rest of the team looked.

 

Although engineer ship is more tanky than guard ship now, and does more damage so in other words no point in taking guard ship.

  bomb maps. No chance you could even get the bomb vs fighters and interceptors.

 

We used to run fighter squads VS the captain before the patch and it worked very well.

There is a time and place for frigates, but pointless everybody having one, you will loose quickly by doing so, and most likely not be able to figure out why, as you seem to think heavier = better. That is not so.

By that logic everyone will fly frigs.

Everyone that can is flying frigs now… well guard/engin frigs. Long range only the jericho one is decent, the Empire is just meh, Jericho = torp = hit = dmg  Empire is sniping and hope the guy you snipe from range doesnt make a minis-cul change in flight.

The game simply got dumbed down! Cookie-cutter setups everywhere.
