For me, this patch reeeaaallllyyyyy ruined faction play and such. If everyone can have anything then whats the point with factions beside the weapons? NOTHING. Each Faction had something unique… now there its pretty much nothing there. From what I belive… the Developers did really not see through what they where doing. I like having my Frigate having Phased Shields insted of Missile… but That does NOT mean other ships other than Jericho should have them too,… All in all… THIS PATCH IS MORE BAD THAN GOOD.

-Only frigates can complete pve now, because the hull/shield nerf
-Npcs in scenarios are to numerous and have zero respaw time. A reduction in npcs and a respaw delay(20-30seg) is needed.
-boss elements have too much damage, just one missile from the laucher can kill a interceptor, or a fighter. and two pulsar hits from the punisher.
Bullcrap on frigate PvE. I finish most matches in my T2 fox FIGHTER which only has 10K survivability.
The simple reasoning is that frigates are large Heavy duty ships.
If they dont have the survivability vs a Interceptor, its gets kind of pointless. Why bother flying … actually why bother designing and building a big heavy ship if it offers no advantages.
Small fast ship = low assault and low health.
mid size ship = medium armor moderate hitting power.
Large slow ship = Heavy armor & heavy hitting.
2/3 interceptors should be able to take out a frigate
1/2 fighters should be able to take out a frigate
1/1 frigate should be able to take out a a frigate
This is just common logic, how can you fail to see that.
If your statement of “Frigate is just a class like the two other”
Fine i want my frigate just as fast as your interceptor.

Every ship should have a chance to beat eachother in 1v1.
Skillful flying should determine the outcome not the type of ship.

So in your universe i am presuming a tiny little scout ship should be as heavily armoured and be able to generate enough power to equal a frigate ?
If that is the case then why frigates ?
In a game you cant ask for that much reality. Especially if it is a sci-fiction game.
If you do then i ll ask you :
how can 1 ship crew fly a frigate ? İnterceptor 1 ship crew is logical. Frigate is not. Then in a team match a frigate should make up for 3 spots.
How come a frigate can be same cost of an interceptor? Then the cost of such a huge ship should be triple of an interceptor.
This game does most things wrong in balance department .
In a class based game high risk should be most rewarding.
Flying an interceptor is the highest risk group but does the least dmg.
A frigate is the least risk group yet does the most dmg and most rewarding.
They have to give up on reality to make all classes desirable.
Trying to adjust ship roles is fine but they shouldnt forget noone would pick a class just to be good at utility.
People want to blow things up in every ship no matter what role they play.
Currently half the ships only do their roles alone.
Im not asking for the physics behind it. but a certain basis of our reality would be nice.

Problem is that the new ship tree design doesn’t gve me any chance to change coz im stuck in this 2 branches and i’m supposed tuo buy all all the ships form the very first one to T4 to switch to gunshio figter and covert ops interceptor…
I think it’s an epic fail to introducing such big changes in game without giving players any chance to choice wich new ship role to get involved in…So please is the ship tree going to be redesigned? Are you going to give us any chance to change the role where the devs stucked players without asking…?

Killavirus… whoa man, what a biased opinion you have, alright we got it you fly frigs and enjoy their overpowered state.
If you need more than one ship, to kill one ship, its overpowered, if you need a certain ship or skill set to counter a certain ship or skill set that is called balance. This is a game you know… it needs to be balanced or it wont be fun!
Right now (after the 0.8 patch) no one can deny that frigs, especially engineering are OP, on the otherhand many gameplay elements, modules, abilities got nerfed or limited which leaves the others without any meaningful counters.
Why should “soloing” be a concern for the devs? The game is designed to be a team game. The devs have made this very clear. Furthermore, there isn’t a game mode that I know of where you can queue up for solo battles.
Maybe i wasn’t clear. How many players log on for the first time and instantly have people to play with? What if your friends are not on? What if you fly more than a few seconds in the wrong direction outside of your healing ship?
you should be able to fly any ship and make it work without having to pair it up with other ship roles.
Imo people are afraid to change their tactics and find new ways of play. Those are usually the dudes who are whining alot. All others just adapt and have fun. Actually i never had as much fun in t3 as right now with 0.8. Yes you will need teammates to work with. With a bullshit team, youll loose pretty quick. I like it.

It’s also great that you guys took it further and reversed the 5%-10%-15% bonuses you had for tier one, to make it easier for new players to get started! I’m happy to know that you guys read the forums, and fix anything that needs to be fixed. I’m happy with most the changes you’ve done in the past few weeks, and I’m especially glad that some are tackled and fixed in short order. Keep up the good work!

Getting the diversity of each ship out of the game is a bad thing. Period. Forcing people to play certain ways you (read: the devs) think is cool, may or may not be cool after all. Let US decide how to play…
