Devs are trying to solve population problems with some lines of code, and this is a huge mistake, what are u planing to do when the minimum population are less than 300? How many changes they need to do with MM? What’s the next step? 50% of players and 50% of bots on a match? When they release the open space how many queues can choose a player? SC, Skirmish, PVE, and open world, and for each of them they are independent queues for lower and higher tiers. How many different queues are? 10? more? 

 

For example with a 300 population where 250 players are on a match, u have 50 on a queue for 10 diferent queues, so how many bots u need to make queue less than 3 mins?

 

So in mi opinion they are spending to much time to solve low population issues on MM while they aren’t solving the big problem, incorporate new players to the game. I remember when they removed bots from games, when they limited the groups to 3, when they mix different pvp tiers, and now we are like at the beginning of 0.8 version with bots, unmixed tiers and 4 ,payers groups.

 

Other players only want to play FAST, in my case for example sometimes when i see more than 2 mins of queue i press Alt+F4 and switch to another game. In SC u can wait 10 mins or more to play 3-5 mins game.

 

Incentive the best week players with GC only makes good players stay, and the beginners, normal, and casual players leave because they need to grind a loot of hours to reach high tiers, and when they arrive to those levels they face with good mk4 pilots and most of them are discouraged to continue playing. (to be clear im not a casual player and i feel im not a bad pilot, and i have t5 ships with some mk4 stuff, so its not a cry)

 

And of course, we have a loot of unbalanced things, for example empire gunships + adaptive shield that increases their hull resistances to be minitanks when they have to run behind their engies, or the styx that is the best t3 tank with a healer plus .

 

Lag are another problem, how i can have lag spikes of 1000ms or more with those low population? (i don’t have wifii and in other games i have a max ping of 150-200) when we reach 3000 players i need a direct rj45 cable connection to the server or what?

False and u know it… If squad is on TS (always happen) it’s a huge advantage on random and solo players and you know. Squad vs squad is perfect MM, and the way it should always be… What’s the problem in facing other squad if you r playng in squad too… :dntknw: ? or the problem is that you r going to be in a perfectly balanced match, finally? Do you want balanced matches or easy wins?

 

 

False and you know it. If squad is on TS and it’s formed of good players, the other 2 men squad will melt anyway. But the queue times will just be longer.

 

It wont fix xxxx because skill is there too, so the squadded randoms will wait more queue time for nothing.

Same here 2man squad now takes forever 5min at least at low population (350) more like 10min and then you get a small game where 2 players dc.

 

Dev’s all we asked was to spread out the 2man squads between the teams. It doesn’t need to be equal and we are fine if one team a 2man squad and there has none under low population. 

And keep your stupid just queue solo crap to yourself.

I gave up after 15min queuing in 2man squad. in that time 4 games were matched in the same queue.

No, info on the 75% cut is incorrect, crit chance is not reduced to any number.

No I have not seen anything, just the chat, but i think its not hard to see, if u make a list of those players with 1300+ dsr that are playing today in T1.

That was expected tbh. Anyway, you have to be very, very sad to farm T1 non stop for the meagre possibility to get 400 GS. That is 1 € aprox. Come on guys… you can get a PC and internet connection but can’t spend 10 € in this game?

Wasn’t really eager for this patch when I learned about the new leaderboard features. Brings out the worst in players.

The idea is good, the way it’s applied is not the best one.

 

The competitive idea is really interresting but it should not take place in the Skirmish Mode.

When something can be exploited or abused, players will do it. 

 

My main problem is that actually, some ships can’t compete because they are not make to farm kill or efficiency as some others.

See, told you so or told you so? Giving real rewards for arbitrary xxxx will lead to abuse, no exceptions. Give only virtual rewards, like the fact that your name is on the top of the list, and everything will be fine.

Any kind of reward will lead to abuse. In particular rewards for arbitrary stats instead of actually - novel idea - winning battles. But even winning would easily be abused.
