Star Conflict 1.4.9: Engineer Evolved. The final stage (Discussion)

Over all i am quite happy with this patch.

just small complaint with few nerfs of ships and the new shields for the destroyers over all good!

 

The Ellydium ships are finally easier to craft but the twist is the leveling, this in my opinion is great!

the downside of this is that players are spamming the trade chat with all the parts for ships and ask for the 300 GS. Knowing for a fact that no one is going to spend money.

bringing us to my next statement.

 

The trade system is for the most part working however not everyone is using it because there is not enough GS in circulation even F2P (free to play) players and Paying players cant buy the parts they need because either people are asking a lot of GS (2000 to 3000) for one part or no one “Online has it”. How can we Solve this problems? Here is my suggestions.

 

1.- Selling parts E.g Alien cabin parts or Stock ships parts (Exterior structures) Etc. to the NPC / server in exchange for iridium. This resource is key for the player Driven trading system because if players cant open the caches then there is no posting, No posting means others players cant buy that specific part therefore No GS is spent and the trading system seizes to work. The current amount obtained in post search loot if you do all missions is around in a rank 15 ship 500 to 600 iridium which not all players can do. using that amount lets you open 2 to 3 caches.

By Doing this players will stop spamming the chat with easily obtainable parts provide more opportunities to open caches for other parts that players are interested in buying.

 

2.- Allow offers to stay online even if the player is offline. this is self explanatory i post a blueprint and stays there for 12 or 24 hours and players can go offline, instead of being force to stare at the trading chat for hours waiting for someone willing to pay for that part. this will also get rid off a common problem called the… Language Barrier !!

 

3.- To help  guide players in the trading you could add statistical data of previous trades from different players and show for how much GS the part was traded for, similar to the steam community market. this will prevent new players from buying parts for 3000 GS not knowing that is a scam (most experienced players will agree with me on this).

 

I am happy with the addition of monocrystal to the broker mission Thank you Devs.

Mineral box was a nice addition  as well

Tbh all min prices also need to be 10% of what they are now. Instead of 300g for one part it should be 30g, etc.

All min prices should be 10% of their current value. For instance a 100g blueprint would be sold for 10g. Tax will take 1g leaving 9g for the seller.

 

Tax will still function as before, just the minimum sale prices will be reduced so that players can actually sell things.

100 g blueprint? Who set the blueprint to 100 g?

 

IOW, you are saying there is a “current value”. Where are you getting that from?

Devs. The minimum sale price for blueprints of most kinds is 100gs. The minimum price for sale of any alien part is 300g.

 

Minimum sale price for blueprint components is 100g and minimum price for sale of “barrels” for weapons is 100gs PER ITEM of which you need 20.

We need that sale in bulk/stack option and user defined prices, this is going nowhere…

Pilots! [An important update](< base_url >/index.php?/topic/34959-star-conflict-149-engineer-evolved-the-final-stage/&do=findComment&comment=411418) has been installed on our servers. Changes were made to ‘Sector Conquest’ mode, balance of Waz’Got frigate and several bugs were fixed.

Well, I really wish to know, which ones, because I was in Open Space today, just to see if you fixed some stuff, but I only uncovered one new bug, when all players with Station Protection enabled, were able to attack and damage me and I was able to damage them as well. And I know what you will say: “Make a bug report.”, yet I uploaded so much of the bugs reports already that I barely have any upload space left to upload more.

The old bugs are still there, not fixed, so I am not even sure what to delete. Skula1975 needs some help with the bug-fixing.

It’s clearly going too slow. One patch should be solely dedicated to fix some annoying bugs and months/years old bugs.

That was good move from you side - make a big tumult about them, give a chance for people to made them (actually made some poor configuration, because of parts cost and their availability) and after that make them weak and useless…

For what??? To force people to make/looking for different ships?

People lost pleasure from building and playing destroyers - if I have been known about such plans for destroyers I definetly won’t spend my time and resources for building it

I like fighting them in PvP because they are fun to destroy and I know it will cost the other pilot a ton of cred. Though I find no use for them in PvP for that same reason.

 

They are nice to see in PvP but the game really doesn’t like them there. They seem like more of a PvE/OS used ship. Though for this to happen, the “nearby enemy” bonus damage needs to go away, and they need a serious speed buff. Or maybe a more useful wormhole projector. Maybe lower cooldown or more versatile use.

Federation destroyer are still good (no easy, very hard sometime) in pvp, and my invincible with a config long range it’s ok too.

But for 11-14 destroyer empire and jericho I Don’t no.
