And I think your ignorance is astounding.

There is now a grind limit to get resources and ship parts.
Just can’t just grind anymore, because there is a grind wall, which lowers the chance of getting high value drops.
Game of grind, where you can’t grind, but must resort to P2W tactic, if you wish to progress faster.
Meh grind wall, best idea ever :)))) for one R8 destro there is need of 320 neodium ores 1game~10min thats 50hours playtime, thats ok.
@#$$% i forgot, i need graphite etc too.
First…lucky people who already has got a Destroyer…easily, because Devs started to create Army theme ships for every Faction.
They started with Destroyers and now they are implementing these special ships.
These ships are supposed to be rare and hard to acquire. So I like the idea of needing a lot of materials for building them. I would say that they should be harder to get. But people want things NOW!!!
I see that Devs want the people playing with ships from all different levels. But maybe they forgot that for this, to make it happen and viable, all ships must have the same quantity of module slots.
Kosty so U do agree that cruise needs adapting?
I never said it does not, I don’t see it as super critical, but tuning it down would go a long way.
True, the AB difference would be bigger, but also longer to reach, and 110% would be a higher number to reach.
which is why i meant, if you reduce your acceleration, you would have a downside in acceleration, but also an upside in decceleration; second effect should be Max(acceleration, modified_acceleration), while acceleration should be Min(acceleration, modified_acceleration)
but true, i do not see it as so broken either, its more in the “hitting them”, as you have to lead the marker. which actually makes cruise builds easy to hit as long as they hit AB. and you got the ping to actually fire at the ship.
however since you get speed with the same module you can pack vernier and strafing next to it, without sacrificing a good base speed, however just imagine if your base speed is actually really slower, so going down from cruise AB would also give you less manouverability (overall, since for me manouverability is the combination of speed+turning+strafing+acceleration)
this is only since i see the adaptive effect as secondary, not as a primary concern.
I tested it with coil mortar, and it does descreased damage at max range. So no Optiomal range != maximum range for explosives.

This is a bug then…
Also, I don’t get a single belly drop from 5 matches in Fire Mission PvE and I get 7 loot attempts each time I win.
Yeah, developers didn’t nerf anything. I must be a liar then…
I have my account from 2 years…
In 2 years I have 1.800 battle win on all rank.
PROPORTION:
1.800:730=600:X
(1.800 IS TOTAL BATTLE WIN IN 2 YEARS):(730 IS DAYS IN 2 YEARS)=(600 IS COMPONENTS NEED BROKK):(X IS DAY NEED FOR BROOK)
X= (730x600)/1.800= 243,33 DAYS
CONCLUSION:
For build brook i need play 243 days (if in the winner match i find ALWAYS component). Then i need about 300 days to build it and i must play only rank 7 in this days.
Draw you conclusion on this patch…
As I see it there are 3 basic things:
That Cinnemon vs 2/3 of the forum is a draw… he is right that these are premiums & they should be a little harder to obtain, but the problem is that these new ships are completely new type of premiums with a little more edge in combat because of their special modules. It’s hard to say who is right in that debate. when u look at them & the grind they require it gets them in position of p2W, and that is no near good for SC.
This patch brought some new changes like cancel of the death spin, that is real good thing, but still no any major changes in game brakers like gravi lens & cruise.
What about the issue of new players getting all those recurses for advancing? (33,450 Million Credits (33.450.000), 159 Neodium Plates, 12 Reactor Packages, 24 Exterior Structures, 6 Deflector Packages, 9 Computing Systems and 6 Engine Packages-Ship Parts in Monocrystals: 1122 Monocrystals ) this also needs to be resolved ASAP because you made j@ckasses of all vet players that didn’t quit this game even though the game is no longer the one they singed up for.
ZD, again, gravitation lens HAS BEEN NERFED this patch, you keep repeating it needs changes.

it’s still a problem
the whole weapon is a problem, Well in beacon matches it is.
Was there a large change unmentioned in the 1.3.5 patch ?
It appears I cannot fire weapons on interceptors from behind or on the sides anymore. I tested this with RF, Plasma, Pulse and srap weapons. All have the same effect (excluding the pulse it still fires).
Finally!
I’m surpised you can play a destro like you think, I think you never played in a real fight
Are you the Scyther from the FROG corp? The scyther that copied my Brave looks, even put the hearts aerography on it like I have on mine, saying I’m a hacker and the only reason why I was able to beat you 20+ times, 2 days in a row, in OS, was the aerography and skin color?

Back to topic, I agree with ZDemon on his statements, except the lens is not so crazy now as it was before, still potent but not crazy, almost OK lol.
Gravy is fine as it is, it is no longer a roflstomp kill module, just another aoe support/control module
@CinnamonFake
Is it just me or, after the patch, veteran with r1-r6 ships will now launch into T3 battle against r7-r9 ships? I did a test battle today and run into this scenario. Managed to survie the onslaught with 0 hull and spy droned
Before 1.3.5 patch I wasn’t able to find a T2 battle at all. Just so you know I have not done any T2 battle in months and want to test this out, no T2 pug was harmed during this test.

So what is the problem? Seems balanced to me
So what is the problem? Seems balanced to me
Well, I think the problem is player will get placed into the “pro” team with like SRS, Radix and Desu when they use a lower tier ship…? I can try a couple more test though.
I love that the new premiums are available without paying, I really do. But with the drop rate where it is, it’s just a bit… much, y’know? I mean… Here, since I am completely incapable of falling asleep, have a little story about when I first started playing this game.
I remember when I’d finally gotten the hang of flying. I’d finally figured out the various ship types and factions. So instead of staring at ship trees and factions and trying to remember all the relationships, I’d spend a lot of time just looking at the higher level ships. I’d spend maybe half an hour after being done playing just planning my way to getting them all. I remember hanging around in English general chat and learning a bit about the game. I had heard about this huge jump in difficulty at rank 7. So I saved up all my credits, playing week after agonizing week with all but one or two of my T2 ships at maximum synergy, wanting to buy my first T3, but knowing that I’d ruin the experience if I did. But I got there eventually. After a month or so of grinding the last few ships to max, I broke my way into T3.
I remember maxing the Kite. It reminded me that yes, there are ships beyond rank 9. I quickly started looking down the far end of the ship trees again. I had it all planned out – as soon as I finished maxing all my T3 ships, I’d rush down the Jericho command tree (the cheapest in terms of credits) to get to rank 15, grab the income bonus implant, and quietly grind my other ship lines, nice and gradually.
It took about a month to save for the Lance S. I remember being surprised that I’d gotten my fourth ship slot for buying it – I’d been so focused on just wanting to get to rank 15, I’d completely forgotten about wanting a fourth ship slot, too. I played my heart out in PvP, trying not to die too horribly in my green ship complemented by T3s. A month or so later, I’d gotten the bare minimum synergy and credits needed to buy the Sword. I was so close to rank 15! I spent hours playing PvE (Processing Rig in particular) to get enough credits to fit it out with green modules of my choice. I dipped into PvP for a little while – and immediately pulled back, since I was nowhere close to being able to compete. So I’d play, PvE after PvE, a break every once in a while to see how badly I could be beaten around by T5 veterans in PvP. It was terrible, but I needed to get just that last little bit of synergy to unlock the Sword S! Finally, after almost two months of questioning if it was actually worth it or not, I’d reached my goal. I’d gotten a rank 15. I grabbed the implant and rocketed back to the comfort of T3, where I could play like before. Just with a bit more income.
The feeling of grinding to get a new ship, one step closer to a goal, is great. I can’t lie, I love a good grind. But grinding to get one of these premiums does not feel even remotely similar. First off, it’s not as big a payoff – 10% extra credits? A fourth ship slot in hangar? Those are huge! A ship with an exclusive weapon and special module? It feels gimmicky and on the other side of “P2W”, even if it isn’t. And second, it’s several times the cost – I remember on my quest for rank 15 that it took about a month for each ship, give or take. This? Given that I’m playing considerably more than I have been recently, and still getting approximately three ship parts a day, that’s about 200 days of “Statue needs to get a life” before I get the ship. That is barely even comparable to a month. It is, in fact, closer to being a year.
It’s like the complaint about destroyer resources. Just because there was a way to get all the resources needed in a month does not mean an average grind of 250 days (that is the ballpark for a rank 8 destroyer from scratch) is alright. I promise, there are players looking at these ships, whether they be destroyers or the new premiums, and wishing their little hearts away. They’ll grind, and grind, and they’ll figure out it’ll take them, yes, 200 days, and then they’ll burn out and leave the game forever. I wish I could say that I am saying that as an armchair theorist, but I’ve done exactly that on multiple different games before. So please, consider at least loosening the requirements slightly.
tl;dr: The new premiums will take ~200 days to grind. They are incredibly cool, but seem too difficult to get to be worth it. I theorize that this will lead to some players burning out, and mention that this is similar to how destroyer resources have been handled. I end with a plea to make the grind more reasonable.
What you have said statue is really how I started off at first. I would play the game simply to progress to the higher ranks. I remember when I came back to the game just a bit over a month after leaving it and finally making my way into Tier 3, it was one of the most rewarding things I have done in the game yet, more than getting Sibyl and it’s simply as you said Statue. Comparing to the grind to run through the tiers for the first time, the grind now just wears you down. Instead of getting a sense of fulfilment you get a sigh of relief and a “I never want to do that again”, and it pains me to see other players having the same reaction. I rarely hear a “I finally got _____!” anymore and it’s simply a slow process of running through the same thing 100s of times over just for one ship. It’s not just veterans having the same reaction either. I know a few people IRL who play Star Conflict and the ship requirement is off-putting to them in the lower tiers, it drives them away from the game.
Please, just hear us out on this one. Increasing the grind is not the way to go for player retention. Something must be done.
