I encourage you, guys, to put yourself together and make a constructive dialog. Don’t turn the air blue.
That was what I was trying to do. In my opinion, the Halo changes are good. The increase in cloud damage makes it more viable against small targets, but at the same time the reduction of range and projectile speed forces you to go closer, for a risk/reward situation. Before the change you could just sit 10 km back and hit every big target in the map. Destroyer have to be forced to go on frontlines, otherwise they can be unkillable.

No it isn’t. My suggestion is you remove arbitrary grind.
Why only one specific rank? Why only max ships? You want people to fly more ships, yet you deliberately limit the ships they can use!
I didn’t ask for the requirements to be easier, I asked for more ships be able to earn the drops. There’s a difference.
At the very least you should change rank specific drops to tier specific drops. That way people flying premium ships (which aren’t free) can earn custom parts, neodiun and beryllium as well.

So am I the only one who is worried about the unable to fire behind or either side of your ship in an interceptor? I don’t really care about turn key heck they can take it out of the game. But those of us that have very sensitive mice with high ping (above 140) its common for the Covops to be firing either side of the ship ?

I almost play only fighters so, I’m sorry, but I don’t care that much. Maybe they could buff rotation on all the ceptors to make it easier to fire from the front of the ship.

Droprates was’t changed. New item was added - premium ship components.
Actually, if you add something to a loot table, you automatically lower the chances of getting everything else. So, we are asking, what chances got lowered? If you didn’t lower anything, then (from a statistical point of view), every other chance was actually lowered a little by the same amount, and I don’t see nothing wrong with it.
Does the 50 voucher reward still count as a ship part for the broker mission? Probably not but I’ve lost track of them and just wanted to know whether or not I should use rank 7 until the end of this event.
Also, If it does not count as ship part for the broker mission I hope the system knows this as well and does not count the 50 voucher rewards into the ‘random’ ship part drop rate by reducing the chance of another part to drop. :fed015:
Nerf to death spin is great, if u could pls add nerfs to cruise (energy consuption + malus on rotation & strafe) & nerf to gravi lens (area of effect + lovering dmg) in next patch you would do this game a lot of good. New ships look great, don’t belive I’ll go in construction coz the grind takes a lot of time but still nice addition to the game. As for mono drops I still find them drop rarely… As for other things destroyers in Fire support are fun & a nice addition to the game.

For me it was like: this will surely not fix it really, and just be again not what anyone wanted in the end, but I gotta try this (I didnt realize it yet)
Also, still dont agree to your cruise nerf suggestion: energy consumption is already high, malus on rotation already exists, your nerf would probably really not change it at all how its used, and actually only affect people who use it in the right manner. There are only two ships having problems, and as we talked in another thread, the correct balance act would be to reduce the base speed cruise gives, while adjusting the AB speed up (so it stays the same), so that cruise does not behave like a speed module for base speed; because the biggest problem is using cruise with reduced acceleration speed and adaptives on rockwell and jaguar, the so called cruise in and stay in adaptive while actually not afterburning gliding trick, some use. In fact another good nerf would be to increase decceleration speed on a cruise fit, or do not reuse modified acceleration on decceleration in the movement code, but use the base number, generally.
And finally, still think the only correct nerf to the gravi lense is still to avoid being a killhit weapon, leaving you dangling there with a couple of hp.
In fact I myself am pretty sure, any other change just makes it either useless, or a bad idea, because lets face it, it is a good spell idea copied badly.
But whatever, Kosty thinks its okay, which usually is really no indication whatsoever to think its okay.

Really nice to see investments in the UI sector, and things like “Sell all”. I didnt look yet, but I also hope there is or comes a salvage all, as getting kicked for RPC calls built into the game spamming the server is a really annoying minigame, if i just want to salvage everything.
In fact, having a spam protection kicking in on a regular basis doing item handling was imho a good abstraction of how some of the things got “patched” in the past: instead of fixing the core mechanic lets just put in a wall. Now you seems to address this issue and take this wonderful example away from me to describe what is going wrong with you all.
400 trophies is quite a lot, but I guess these shipparts stay as a general part of the game missions? If this is a timed mission, I can only laugh about how spaced out these numbers are. You even know how many games an average player plays? Sometimes I really think, you make all this “looking at the stats” up. grind like this keeps motivated for a while yeah.
And then you lose people again due to burnout, get negative reviews, etc.

Adaptive gliding on a cruise engine is possible because of how huge the gap is in base speed - ab speed, if cruise would “reduce” the base speed it would become even easier, because speed range for adaptive to be on would be even wider. So different approach probably is better.

The requirement to fly maxed ships instead of just having them really goes against the spirit of the game in many game modes.
See players are forced to choose between flying a ship that will contribute to victory the most and flying a ship that will get them rewards. Giving players this choice is very bad game design.
For example Guild Wars 2 had this issue with the magic find gear, which was an infusion that would cause rare items to drop more frequently for you but at the cost of using another infusion that would help you combat-wise and thus help your team succeed. They eventually changed magic find to an account-wide parameter. That is what this should be - the number of maxed rank xx ships you own influences the droprate, not the number you fly in a battle.
Also you get dumb scenarios like: oh look we about to win, but I’m flying my Aura. Great I have to go kill myself quickly and then tell my team not to kill too many people in the next 20 seconds while I relaunch with my Grey Falcon to get ship parts.

No, you can use any faction R7,10 and 13 ships to get parts.
g4borg I agree with u both for cruise & gravi lens. If they implement that some things would not be abused as much as now. Game would benefit from it.
Adam West I do uderstand that this ceptor change is a hit for you & your gamestyle but something had to be done about it & this solution is OK.

There is now a grind limit to get resources and ship parts.
You can’t just grind anymore, because there is a grind wall, which lowers the chance of getting high value drops.
Game of grind, where you can’t grind, but must resort to P2W tactic, if you wish to progress faster.
