With regard to premium ship parts, I seem to get matches where I will get a part almost guaranteed for 4-5 wins or so, then nothing for the next 4-5. Haven’t played more than that so far. This is daily so it resets the next day.
It seems more like you get a guaranteed set number of parts per day rather than a very rare chance to get parts.
It’s probably a good thing so that you don’t *have* to grind heaps to get a decent daily parts reward but also stops people from spending the whole day grinding PvE and getting the ship within a week (yes there are people who play PvE that much)
Thanks for mentioning everything in the patchnotes.
So instead of making the penalty higher for stacking vernier engines, you decided to introduce a blind spot. Now please go ahead and give every ship this blindspot.
It’s scary how fast you guys react to xxxx suggestions.
Meanwhile, no squads.
Since my interest in new content in a broken enviroment is rather slim, i will not waste time talking about waste of time.
I’m seeing this as well. Got 1, 1, 0, 2 then nothing until I gave up.
Today I got 3 wins in a row where I didn’t get a single part, but then it started again to drop stuff. Right now I am at 17 pieces for the stingray… It’s gonna be a loong grind_…_
On the plus side I am having fun in the rank 10 ships. Normally you’d just get in your premiums or most powerful ships etc but now there is a reason to play those other ranks, and they aren’t that bad ;p That being said you do face a lot of Alligator mkII and Phobos in some rank 10 matches…

I’m playing R8 & get vs R10… As soon as I get 50 neod (well I’m after monos) I’m outta there. I’m not even traying to get that new gunship & guard coz I’ll never ever use them. Doing R11 (onlay in PVE) after this but just to get mono reward.

I play almost only fighters, especially fed gunships, so that’s the ship for me
I don’t understand all the fuss over the new ships taking a long time, Premium Ships that are being given for free as a chance in parts, seems perfect to me. Despite me not being interested in any of them as though they look cool their low rank ships, i believe their pretty fair chance at this point, the few games i actually play now i get 2-4 parts on average a game in fire support, which i’m completely fine with, as again they are premium ships being given for free in a way. The interceptor change i really don’t have much a opinion on, as i never really did the xxxx turn key spam as most people used to do make them un-hittable, but went head on and strafed facing the enemy which worked fine for me and the new patch hasn’t effected that. In all i think the patch was fine, i really hope you guys reduce the current loot in the system at the moment, like taking out the crap credit loots that are worth like under 10k credits, because nobody likes that, not even low players, it just wastes a spot for resources. The current situation with resources however isn’t so bad to me, i get monos and destroyer materials regularly which is all i really asked for before, Still Wish However, that you guys would at least come up with a way to give Veteran Players like myself a chance at getting some of the rewards newbies are getting in the form of challenges or special missions, which in all honestly i still find Complete BS that they get over 1k monos in parts handed to them as a reward for maxing out over time, when still we got squat and just being veteran players does not make us even in this case.
Good Job Devs, cool addition after i realized what the stuff was really worth in sense, keep up the good work…

that will be better if dev’s team did special mission to get those premimun ship as reward just like the nyx, not to long everyone able to do it and not repetitive but just my guessing ofc
That’s why they made them available to everyone. They couldn’t lock content for non-paying players.
Myself and others feel that the hoops you need to jump through to get them for free are excessive, to the point of making the ships unavailable to ordinary players.

Right now I’m at 1/20 pf the way to the stingray (I have 21 pieces). I feel like the grind for that ship and the Archleon is pretty fair, while the Brokk grind is a little bit excessive. Maybe it should be reduced by 50 pieces
Something else I’m seeing - destroyers don’t require another destroyer to keep them in check. Two games now I’ve had the enemy team bringing a destroyer while we had none. Both games were an unchallenged victory to the other team.
limiting arc of fire for inties - not a solution I would use. This game was from the beginning paper > rock > scissors, so I would add more counter measures to that (Gravi Beam - "on hit slows speed AND rotation by x% for 1 second. Longer exposure will slow it further to …). Same thing I would add to guard, ECM and other natural intie enemies. So -+ for trying, I hope it will change in the future
Premium ships that can be gained without spending GS ++ awesome idea! I would add possibility to upgrade non-prem ships to prem ships (+cargo slots, no repair costs etc) for other ships, but it should go to suggestions box
3a) Special modules only compatible with those premium ships - I am still undecided but I am leaning to ok-ish so ±
3b) daily limit for achievable parts - I know there was a hot discussion about it. I asked few friends and the results are as follows - after first login in the game day first few parts are coming easy (average was just a little under 1/win) part number 7 is dropping with much lower drop rate but still obtainable easily, part number 8 drops once in about 20 games. Part number 9 is very rare. I myself did an experiment and played 40 games in a row, some before the game day changed, some after - without logging out. I observed similar pattern as described above. Games from range 19-40 didn’t yield a single part. Then I logged out, logged in, got 7 wins and 7 parts in a row. 6 people confirmed similar behavior, with slight difference of drop rate after part number 5 dropped (all pilots were flying R13 ships, with 4 R13 ships equipped). If that’s not intended I will log a bug, if it is, you can just confirm that there is a drop of a drop chance after several battles and in that way people will have their answer, and developers will not need do unveil the actual drop rate. As we did just under thousand battles in total, statistical drop rate cannot be fully calculated from this, but pattern emerged and there is almost 0 chance this pattern is accidental.
no squads - well, it was mentioned that there will be no squads in foreseeable future, so no - and no +
adding guaranteed loot to the GS shop big fat ++
fire support - nicely done, some random events are happening here, which makes it more interesting - way to go ! ++
overall patch for me - good. Interceptors are butchered, but who cares? I mostly fly heavier ships and if Listick and Adam West are fine with that change, I can live with that. However - as I said, there are are better ways to counter mindless spins.
Interceptor firing arc. This is kind of annoying, especially in Spec Ops. Since people loving forget that the generators should be killed first, flying an interceptor and just weaving out in front and shooting behind no longer is possible. I understand why you removed it though. I’ll live with it. Just going to say it makes it harder for some things. (Inties can play a decent role in Spec Ops if the person knows how to fly it.)
Suppessors in Fire Support Defense contract. Something new, I approve.
I think this is was changed last patch but I wish to bring it up. Engineers drones. It’s nice that we now spawn with them, however, I do NOT like how they are no longer killable. This makes engi even more powerful, as they are now 100% harder to kill since they have double or so the shield regen of just about anything else. I am wondering if this is actually a bug since the description still says they spawn with 3153 Durability pts. (I just ate about 20 missiles from a turret in OS, so I know they aren’t exploding properly.)
New premy ships - these are going to be around for awhile yes? If so, I have no problem.
After some “few” more games I have to admit that on some weapons, like the shrapnel, the new “blind spots mechanic” is awful.
“Some” weapons? Eh, how about “some” playstyles, and no - am not talking about the turnkey because I didn’t use that xxxx, I mixed strafe and rotation manually and now I cannot anymore without my weapon stop firing in the most inconvenient times which totally kills the sense of freedom for me. Just pointing it out. And yeah you could say - just adapt then, and well that is exactly what I am doing - instead of bringing any interceptor I am taking fighters to battle, why? It’s now the only way I can enjoy dogfights. Insane adapting required due to new restrictions, limitations, in order to have fun. Way to go.
Deactivating, or nerfing the turnkey instead of introducing a blindspot for one ship type that relies on manueverability and agility to survive maybe? Nope denied.
Welp, great job devs for crippling, even rendering inties useless.
