Although i’ve (constructively) criticized certain areas of Star Conflict in the past and probably will continue to do so, the amount of times i’ve seen people say this and several patches later they will still be posting is quite funny to me, when i’m gonna quit, i’ll just quit.
Sometimes, quitting the game just means you stop speaking well of it, recommending it. And you play it a lot less if any.
Really happy with this, but a question: does this mean that something like the destroyer’s Pyro Emitter now also can damage Emitters, Generators, etc. on the cruiser in special operation?
Dunno about Pyro Emitter, but black hole generator launched in the middle of cruiser damages most of the turrets (slightly - it’s not as useful as I hoped in Fire Support) - so yes.
Devs, please consider separate r11 destroyers from r7-r11 match and limit to r12-r14 only, at least for now. They’re far more OP than anything I’ve seen in the past. I played about 200 games with my r11 dessie, of about 180 games I solo queued and managed to turn the tide of the battle with r11 destroyer alone. Those black holes are absolute horrific for dessie/frig balls, majority of them explode with their full shield. Below are some screenshots with my score and weekly pilot rating to prove my point. Imagine each team have several of them and this game quickly turned into black hole conflict.
Why cap a beacon when you can just let gravity collapse on the beacon?

Even in pve a r11 destoyer’s dps can count as 4 players.

So it is still happening, that’s bs and needs to be fixed asap. Stuff like this is why i prefered the tier matchmaking and you can’t really blame the T4 destroyer pilots, they just want to fly their new ship, probably increasing their W/L ratio and general stats at blistering speeds while they’re at it.
Perhaps they could make r11 destroyers equal 2 r8 destroyers for the time being until they are balanced in the future. 2 Braves on one side in a mostly r8/9 match is like escorting the transport in Vanguard zone and then having all the Predators focus it in the last 2000m…

I tried to imagine that scenario and couldn’t stop laughing. I then looked at your signature gif and tried to imagine the lrf is a destoryer shooting out blackhole at a frigate and finishes with a photon torp.
Could you please fix the phaser? Its (fast) charges will just pass through the target about 90% of the times, not dealing any damage at all. (And please add a muzzle flash to it )
I remember when you guys used to pretend this game wasn’t pay to win. Now you don’t bother trying to hide it. Nice one.
The choice not to make career mode available to vets is disappointing, but frankly not surprising. Why give something to someone who has already spent money with you and become jaded enough not to make that mistake again, right?
Also, the continued destroyer push is really, really getting tiresome. They are destroying Star Conflict. The game revolves around them now, and they’re basically forcing out all the other playstyles. In most game modes destroyer spam is the best course of action. The idea that they are already corrupting T5 is really troubling, as it means the only place left for REAL PvP matches is T2.
Overall, terrible patch. There isn’t really any redeeming feature in this.

It is ridiculous, that you have to grind for hours in Open Space to get a few beryllium ore nuggets. The drop rate is simply too low. There is no fun in it, just boredom.
90 Mysterious containers and only 1 Enriched Beryllium that I got so far.
You need 3 beryllium ore nuggets, just to make one enriched beryllium component as well.
This is getting nowhere. As for the rest of the complaints, they are already known.
I am disappointed, probably now more than ever. It’s time to move on to another game.
I will start to work on Star Conflict review. When it is done, I will let you guys know about it.

IA battle are still unbalanced. Having rank 7 ships against IA rank 15 Mk IV modules/weapons is unfair. Does it fit to every kind of player ? From elite to “basic” ones ?
Berylium/neodium drop rate. I tried to find some of it. I found, rarely, some neodium but no berylium, switching from npc to ore floating in space, maybe it’s too low to have a single destroyer R11 in one year ? Time will tell.
With no chance to gather these materials through salvage process, my doubts are heavy.

Yeah, once my few days of prem are over Im going to have to just uninstall and find another game. It won’t be easy, but these people are just too good at making people miserable.
Considering this game is a shooter, who thought that we would enjoy flying around scanning objects for hours on end to find materials?

Im starting to think it’s just a really big joke to them, considering they have a religion called ‘bartle’ when the bartle test determines a balance in gamers demographic. It’s a joke because there’s four categories to the bartle test and ‘spending money’ isn’t one of them, which seems to be their main focus.

Thanks for reading and understanding. But they behave like they are attempting this .- d00mbØt always phrases it as if they are trying to make everyone happy- and they keep adding game modes
