Ik, and it’s a little ‘too’ great. It’s a destroyer-sized coil mortar, basically every destroyer’s dream. Had a few encounters and it’s pretty exagerrated. Not against it as an idea, but does need some toning down of damage, range or ROF. I’ve seen 2 empire destros having their armor tank melted in just seconds with no additional modules or ships shooting at them. It’s the new norm in destroyer vs destroyer combat.

I dont like the direction this game is moving. All other ship classes are inferior compared to those destroyers. 3 years of balacing, designing new ships and finetuning the different ship roles down the drain…
You basicaly changed the core of this game from a fast paced shooter to a slow stand-off like world of tank or that other knock off with the boats. It is boring but most off all totaly different from gameplay before destroyers. I guess lots of people like the no skill, auto aim, massive damage big ships. But is this realy the direction you want this game to evolve? You basicaly are making a game like fractured space only with less good graphics and less pvp. Stick to your own genre.

Destroyers are destroyers. They don’t fill the gap of tackler, engies or inties. If you look at their raw damage, then yes, they are superior to all other shipclasses. But this apply to ALL shipclasses(with some exception of builds). Inti<Fighter<Frigate

Oh please, people are allowed to complain, but on Ru forum you wanna complain you do it in constructive and polite way, while here people just come right out and i quote “everything is xxxx, developers are xxxx, game is xxxx” and blah blah balh. There are always edge cases, there are people banned here and people banned over there, but at least over there people are forced to be people and not allowed to be little twats like here.
The amount of “demands” coming form enormously smaller EN community is tenfold bigger than what comes from RU, of course people want stuff for free, but this is getting ridiculous around here, every second “suggestion” is damn “i want it, hence it is good, gime it naw, and don’t comment if you disagree”
Ammo replen is still not fixed…
Thinking about it, are you guys implementing a feature where GS ammo doesn’t auto-replen, but crafted/bought ammo does?
Lots of “Constructive” feedback in this thread, and some good comments and ideas, my view on the update is its really good, the new destroyers look great, they fixed some bugs(not all but some), and apparently re balanced pvp to an extent. My hype for the old veteran rewards from missions is wiped away practically by now, but still i enjoy the game, just hope devs get a handle on the current brick conflict situation with destroyers flooding pvp, otherwise 9/10 patch :006j:

Every ship class had his roll, and his counter, the destroyer just doesnt fit because he hasnt a counter and can easily make multiple ship roles useless/obsolete. It doesnt fill ‘the gap’. It totaly changes the gamemechanics, basicaly its divided in two fronts now, the players with destroyers and the players without. Game is reduced to no more then a petty battle between the big and the little ship. Why would anyone bring a guard if you can take a ship that is possibly faster, more powerfull, has more hp, more auto firing weapons and a great area of attack then a guard?

Inties…inties are not a counter to destroyers. People like to say “oh just use a plasma arc that’s all it takes” or “just fly around it really fast and shoot at it, it will eventually die”.
- The plasma arc is a great thing to use against destroyers, but it does NOT kill a destroyer! It can take out it’s modules, yes. It can deal a lot of hull damage, yes. But it doesn’t deal ALL of the hull damage, only some. When you plasma arc an Empire destroyer for example, it will still have a very good chance of surviving and moving on. The power of destroyers comes (mostly) from their Insane tank and DPS, not their modules. A destroyer with no modules will still wreck a good 2 or 3 ships on its own every time.
- Even if the destroyer is on its own, and you’ve taken our all its modules, and you’re using the Orion Targeting Complex, it will still take a LONG time to simply use your DPS to kill the Destroyer on your own in an interceptor. This is not regarding the fact that you will most likely have other ships attacking you to defend their destoryer, and the fact that the destroyer CAN still hit you, and that they can move back to friendly territory, slowly, but still very possible. Considering how long it would take to kill the destroyer on your own, or even with a little help, it could turn around and get to cover, or find some friends to cover it, long before you and your support could take it down. You are simply wrong, interceptors are not a counter to destroyers.
- The Procyon is pretty damn mobile…ask the people who built it properly.

Consider yourself lucky if you got any of the good rank up rewards or that your even getting ship parts, all us people that had already reached R15 in all factions got nothing.

I deliberately tried countering destroyers in my Eagle-B. If they have any kind of support, or can track targets quickly, you can’t take them on. The interceptors are good at harassment or finishing off crippled ships, but you need your own destroyers to deal the bulk of the damage.
Mass destroyers with an engineer to heal and a tackler or ecm to shut down inties will roll anything but a rival destroyer fleet
