ITT: players want balance, devs give zero fncks.
Remove destroyer t4 in t3 battle please,
I play some pvp where there are rank 11 destroyer in t3 pvp… it’s impossible playing… the new weapon “black hole” have escessive damage… Only one t4 destroyer Win the match alone. I know if t4 destroyer is in my team I win if is in opponent team i lose…
The destroyer t4 in t3 battle is to much unbalanced.
You know, after thinking about it some more, this whole situation ended up reminding me of one I saw in another game. In it there was this one type of extremely powerful item that would put the user in a state that made them exceedingly durable, and possessing of enough fire power that they could AoE kill most players within range with one, or two special attacks. They although could only be used for a short while at a time, were susceptible to crowd control like stuns, which meant they could be chain stunned to a relatively quick death if they didn’t catch a group unaware, were an extremely rare world boss level drops, and once the item was unlocked so it could be used, it only lasted a couple of days. This way they would only provide a sort of “oh crap” factor on the battle field, but in a good way, as it was very rare to see even one person with it, and virtually unthinkable that more than one person would have it at a time due to that design, which made them manageable, even though they were insanely powerful, especially when supported by a healer. Unfortunately the publisher of the game over here loved pay to win, so stuck it in the cash shop, rather than just being an exceedingly rare in-game drop like in other releases, so that way any wallet warrior that wanted one, could have one. The result was that they were everywhere, they completely destroyed PvP, and people left in droves.
I think the power of destroyers in fine, if they got nerfed down to being nothing more than guard ships mark II, it’d suck, especially considering how much of a hassle it is to get one. Instead, they should just never be so common a sight, so that they can remain manageable, even if you aren’t in a destroyer yourself, so here’s a few suggestions:
- You can only have one destroyer in your hanger at a time.
- Regardless of game mode, including PvE, you can only spawn your destroyer once per game, so in PvE you can’t use them in each of the three parts, just one of them (even if you weren’t killed, and no respawning if you were killed), and once someone killed yours in PvP, that’s it till your next PvP match.
- Only allow about 25% (rounding up) people with destroyers in per side, this way there will never be those cases like we see in T3 now, where pretty much everyone is in a destroyer, this would also mean only one person with a destroyer in PvE.

I agree with phoenix. only 2-3 destros on each side in a 10v10 that cant respawn, one-time usage in battle is fairly balanced, stun the crap outta them and kill.
I would like to add whenever a player has like 3 premium ships r9 and destro r11, either put him in t3 battle with grayed destro or t4 with grayed ships, ignore the transition ± rank BS, tiers should not mix. I’m aware they are testing old vs new destros now but in future dont let that happen again please.
another solution could be have One life for battle for the destroyer…
when you die with destroyer you can’t respawn destroyer, you can only play other ship…
similar to “capture the beacon” but in all pvp mode for destroyer…

Limiting the number of destros overall per battle is imho no solution, and I am against that personally. If you want something like that, you just invite problems in the future, you dont want to face. Class limits kills games faster than anything else. Also, I am not crying about them in PvP. They were fun in T3. They are awkward in T4. And I currently don’t want them in T5.
Otherwise most of the problems are rather balance, and rewards. As always.
Another option would be to make destroyers something you have to unlock by earning points in match. So if you earn 750pts you get the option to immediately respawn as a destroyer.

If u care about balance that much can u explain me how the hell ppl put any kind of resistance to ONE SINGLE t4 destroyer even when they AREN’T SOLO …
if thats your solution i can put resistence to 4 man squad no matter bring them back and remove dessy OR fix that problem

Devs won’t limit their numbers with this beautiful excuse “If we limit amount of dessies in game, we’ll get longer que times… We don’t want that, right?”
Also there are way better games out there with dessie kind of gameplay. SC was awesome coz of it’s PvP.
I saw 4 people in total now, that proved flying intie against destroyer is possible and they were killing the T4 destroyer. So they are not unkillable. They just need some, what is the word, TEAMWORK! Almost forgotten.

I can only conclude that devs are tired of this game.
After a while everything gets old, I’ll give you that, but thinning out playerbase with implementation of something that is so obviously ruining gameplay is almost rude.
Here you have players throwing in valuable suggestions not because the’y feel bitchy, but because they care about the game they enjoyed for long time. And they wouldn’t like to move on to other games.
In my personal experience, the players who’s company I enjoyed are moving to other MMOs. And every single one of them will tell the same story…destroyers are killing this game. They have thousands of PvP’s under their belt and are all very competent judges when it comes to this game. I join TS room nowadays only to find them playing Warframe. Make no mistake, social component is crucial for SC.

I blew up an almost full hull Brave in my Procyon the other day. It might have been a crappy build (didn’t check) but was fun sneaking up on it and blasting it with pyro + tempest + meson
In regards to the gravitational lens module.
It would be much more bearable if there was some sort of warning sound similar to incoming missiles when someone is about to activate one nearby.
Otherwise in extremely large beacon battles, it is almost unnoticeable.
Also red flashes would be nice when hull is being drained by such module.
Hi everyone… Today I wanna talk only about what happens in game now. And I would appreciate for opinions from community and hear answers from the developers.
I didn’t play for a long time due to the new (at that time was a new) unbalanced guns and matchmaking problems and only about 2 weeks ago I decided try to play again.
When I finished about several dozen battles in T3 pvp, I realized that destroyers (at that time were only 8lvl) usually have the most important role. In general, I don’t like them and I think the current situation isn’t fair and unbalance at all. But I understood if I want to know how to fight against/with them and if I don’t want to lose most of time, I have to have at least one of them.
So I started to fly in open space (which I hate so much) in searching of neodymium. I spend about 5 hours every day and as result yesterday, I finally finished my first t3 destroyer.
And then what? And then I see that every (about 90%) of battles I MUST to play with my t3 ships and 8lvl destroyer against t4 ships and 11lvl destroyers.
Tell me please, is it fair or at least little equitable?
Now I just wanna see what will be next month(s) and if nothing changes, good bye SC

And what imbalance you have done ? I don’t get green ping, so I don’t use more verniers in ship. But old players still have those strafe engines, tatget tracking compressor… which other players can not get or use in Tier 3 games.
