I’m not frigging impressed at all!

Rank 15 in all factions, I play this game pretty much everyday and I don’t have enough to build a rank 8 destroyer or any of the special rank 15 ships I.e Jaguar etc

BUT

fecking players who only have a max of rank 9 with any faction are flying around in destroyers thanks to the rank up bonuses they get now, they aint fecking on at all!

 

If you Dev’s want the rank up bonus then fair play, give every rank up bonus in one lump to the rest of us who have grinded our asses off over the last few years,

 

Because trust me on this, I won’t be putting another penny of my own money in again until this crap is sorted and pretty much everyone else in my Corp has said the same thing!

I have played for 2 years (but not continuously) and I’m rank 14 with fed, 10 with empire and 10 with jericho. Never got a level up bonus. I was able to get a destro doing only half of the event after 1 week it ended. But I agree with you. 

 

There is a serious inflation of monocrystals going on here with another new set of missions which hands them out like candy, why even bother going into open space at all now?

It was done cause group of people abused previous system in top-8.

 

  • allow to leave once, set a boolean, dont allow further leaves? delete this temp db at each end of the league cycle.

  • introduce cooldown times for leaving a team after join? 1-2h cooldown should do the trick. cooldown can be reset instantly while out of league cycle.

  • exactly narrow down how it was abused and make the reward system less linear top100 oriented, so it can deal with the same pilot pushing multiple squads?

 

  1. regarding player trading - this is absolutely terrible and stupidest idea for Star Conflict, the game and its economy absolutely alien to inter-player trade.

yeah, of course, so stupid and terrible. because you know exactly, what it would mean for the game, just by guessing. because most of the mechanics aren’t copied from games, which do have trading. because yes, everything in star conflict is oriented to give the same fair prices of either time or money investment, and personal progression is fully balanced against paying customers, who receive instead a highly boosted overly rewarding progression at the moment, while the base game is fully optimized to be fun on its own.

let me guess its the big picture, by the game design team, which, even compared to my partial and incomplete study of computer science including game design classes, seems to be so naturally adept at it, they never even bothered to study any of it!

Rank 2 - Engine Package, 50k Credits

Rank 3 - Computing System, 100k Credits

Rank 4 - Deflector Package, 150k Credits

Rank 5 - 8 Neodium plates, 250k Credits

Rank 6 - 2 Reactor Packages, 300k Credits

Rank 7 - 3 Exterior Structures. 500k Credits

Rank 8 - 10 Neodium Plates, 700k Credits

Rank 9 - Engine Package, 900k Credits

Rank 10 - 2 Computing Systems, 1,1M Credits

Rank 11 - 10 Neodium Plates, 1,2M Credits

Rank 12 - 2 Reactor Packages, 1,3M Credits

Take this times three…

33,450 Million Credits (33.450.000), 159 Neodium Plates, 12 Reactor Packages, 24 Exterior Structures, 6 Deflector Packages, 9 Computing Systems and 6 Engine Packages

Ship Parts in Monocrystals: 240 + 432 + 120 + 198 + 132 = 1122 Monocrystals equals 187 daily days (If you visit all 3 stations) without premium license and 125 with premium license.

 

I hope this cleans up some things, so you can imagine better.

As you can see, any player with R15 in all three factions should have enough parts for all 3 R8 Destroyers, plus plenty of change - enough, potentially, for another Special Project ship!

Given that in the four years Star Conflict has been around I have precisely ONE Special Project ship, and even with half the R8 Dread event i had to grind like crazy for a week to build it.

New players get more in 3-4 months of play than we did in 3-4 years.

This needs addressing.

Personally, I don’t care about the credits. I care about the fact that I don’t enjoy Open Space and so only do 1 Mono mission per day (if that), meaning it would take me 561 days to get those monocrystals you’ve given away for free. That’s a year and a half of grind wiped off the progression of every new player and dumped on us!

So far I was wondering why do veteran players bother complaining about not getting these rank up rewards, but now that I have seen those numbers…

 

Getting any more credits would be useless, but those amounts ship parts (or rather monocrystals) and neodium plates are really significant. Grind of a year basically.

Because 600+ Monocrystals resource sink isn’t enough.

 

So it is good to have more ways to get monos :wink: I hope that there are more events like this.

That is a bit sickening really, after just over a year of playing, having reached R15 in all factions, I only have 1 destroyer and 1 SP ship to show for it, and now players get more than that handed to them for nothing. Come on devs, please reward your loyal players too!!

And sorry but… Who cares? 40/50 people that will partecipate in the final tournament? Leagues were already boring as it was before, now with even more rules it’s just a waste of time in order to get some monocristals.

You’re seriously complaining about to many monocrystals?  :013j:  These things are still the rarest material in the game because you can’t farm them unless you want to spend money on it. I’ll take them whenever i can, the only thing i don’t use to get these are tournaments and leagues because i don’t really like squad gameplay/matchmaking.

Of course I’m also glad that our grind is reduced, but suddenly getting 5 monos a day for playing one or two games of t3 and lots more for league and other misc missions like in the winter event gives us disproportionate amounts of monocrystals for our effort compared to before where you had to to menial and potentially frustrating missions in open space to slowly accumulate them. Essentially, it devalues those who spent much time in open space.

 

I understand they are given out because Destroyers, but why do they require them in the first place? I distinctly remember promises they wouldn’t. Probably nothing authorative, but it still was out there.

Wait. Am I getting this right? Every single person that joined since destroyers came up is getting THIS?! In my best farming day I got 8 neodium plate. Since then I decided to just do normal runs between stations to get all my dailies. Which nets an average of 1.6 neodium plate per day. In not even 3 months I got all my ships maxed out. I never got my grand admiral status. Oh well. But. As I can see - you can tier rush from R6 till R15 in about 14 days. That’s 42 days for all 3 factions. To get to R6 you need one extra day. 43 days total. I’m playing for 3 years now. In all that time I got 8 ship parts in total. So now you are saying that new person when asks around how to tier rush properly will get in 43 days  of normal playing something that  takes over half a year of grinding for a person that’s already R15?

BTW: if anyone is curious - just before the last patch that included number of ships required to lvl up, you could get from R6 to R15 in 8 days. 8 DAYS. Thats 25 days. What next? Free beryllium for a person that will join after the next patch? 

 

Basically except for internal structures, you are giving away 3 secret project ships. Can I have them too, please? I’m playing for a long time now. Every single ship I got I earned. Every single secret project ship was grinded for. And now you are basically saying “you are moron. You shouldn’t spend your time on grinding. You should do absolutely nothing and wait till we get you a new shiny ships”. You don’t even know how frustrating is the mission to escort that stupid transport in Vanguard Outpost, how I spent hours to devise proper timing and tactics just to have a predator spawned 3k before ending. You guys always had my support (financial as well - I spent on this game what could be basically a small holidays, cause I was sick and I needed distraction from reality). But I just feel cheated.

It’s a bit more amusing then that.  Those that supported the game and ranked up with gold ships are actually punished for doing so thanks to missing rank rewards. 

I noticed that the Tempest missiles are damaging my own ship too when I hit something too close. Is this supposed to happen? I was a captain in a Vs. AI combat recon when this happened for the first time.

That most definitely is working as intended (I hope), since the tempest launcher launches missiles. Missiles can self harm you in case you hadn’t noticed.

By the time that fresh new player reaches R15 in all 3 factions ill have more than that without even using prem license, dlc nor boosters, just my good friend spatial scanner i didnt payed for (with cash) :).

It’s possible, cause if they can’t find target they just flight straight, and if your ship is on their way they can damage you.
