i realised i was a bit in anger and frustated as i wrote my to many posts in this thread… for that i want to apolegize by the devs and members if i bothered or insulted you in any way… that wasnt the way i usally talk or discuss…
i have some (i hope constructiv) questions/points
can we expect in the near future an trading system where people can trade there not needed destroyer parts for needed parst with other players?
because i for example have parts i didnt need for the destroyer i really want to build but need other stuff that i cant build yet. other games in the genre have things like this and it can be very helpfull.
Plus:
i think an trading system with multipal stations in the open world would be a nice touch for the game
i would find it a bit better if we could get better information about current updates ingame.
If you need an idea, something like the weapon that commanders use in fire support could fit well. Obviously a bit higher velocity, maybe low damage and poor accuracy, fired sequentially like coil mortar, and explodes in proximity.
It would make for a good close range defense against rushers which are very difficult to hit, and still have a use at long range suppression on key areas once saturated, but would be easily dodged outside of 2-3km or so, leaving a range in which to counter it.
…Would also give them a solution against clouds of mobs in PvE
“Warthunder like Tech tree” (forced grind to climb in tech tree of at least 2 ships per level instead of the old Synergy system). I only see a Marketing decision there. We told you to keep your new playerbase, are you trying to sink your own game ? Lots of my corpmates and new recruits are already grinding their teeth… yeah, and no joke their.
It motivates players to evolve in game more, besides 28 ships for each faction is not so big cost.
I’m going to have to disagree. I have spent the last 3 months enjoying this game immensely. I spent quite a while figuring out what ship roles I was proficient at, figuring out the paths I wanted to take and working toward grinding out synergy and credits, etc. and in one patch all of my planning and grinding is made irrelevant because I now have to purchase 6 ships that I already know I have little interest in just to move up a rank to get the one a truly have been working for. After immersing in this game and even spending the money, time, and effort organizing a corporation, I’ve lost my taste for it. It’s like you guys are making these decisions with maxed out ships of every factions and role in full synergy, while the lower level players are now stuck in the mud to try and squirm our way up by wasting credits, time, and resources on things many of us have already decided we are not interested in. This move will not motivate your new players, but turn them off to the grind, which was manageable before, but with this move has become nearly insulting. I was in the process of designing an impromptu ad campaign to get more new players interested, but I’m not sure it’s worth the effort after this change. I always defend the devs in chat from all the players whining about this and that, but it seems I’m going to have to throw my lot in with the whiners this time. This is the first time I’ve become disappointed in a change made to the game since I started playing so much so that I’ve considered giving up on the whole endeavor and all my plans for improving its player base.
Check Sword or Sword S model in PvP/PvE or Open Space.
Something is wrong with the model, if you’re too far from it and also the camera view when you lock on the ship on the top left corner of the screen.
There must be some glitch/clipping issue! Test it with more models, in case if more are affected!
Fixed today. Thanks for an observation.
Will the destroyers get an EM weapon?

We are planning something, i can’t reveal it now. But EM-weapon will be definitely available.

I agree with what you said, it may work in Warthunder and it only works in Warthunder because there are multiple tank types a nations tech tree that are enjoyable to use unlike Star Conflict. Players should have the freedom to choose what ships they use not be forced to use ships they do not want to.
It works in War Thunder because once your tank is dead, it’s gone for the battle. Single use vehicles and limited lives require you to level multiple vehicles at once. Star Conflict has unlimited respawns and unlimited uses of ships, so this mechanic doesn’t make sense until the end game.
The tournaments become a frigball fest, the gameplay become slower boring.
Harder to navigate and overview the new shiptree.
The main problems still exist, we got new stupid content what didn’t solved anything. You advertised an even more broken game.
The game slowly go to an brainless arcade shooter. Congrats!
Ace (originally I wrote n00b) of destroyers are comming
Sort out dreadnoughts please. It is a pile of campy BS that is not fun to play. LRFs, flux phasers, and now destroyers.
And that’s without mentioning the MM process
Destroyers from the few dread battles I’ve had, don’t actually change the main strategy. All the presence of one adds is a new target for elimination, although with that said I do think it is a bit unfair to have 3-5 of them rushing you at once.
what does this means?
I think it was the coil mortars not losing fire rate when free-aiming behind or to the side of the ship.
It is now a feature Nightmare! At least people will stop using those stupid gauss mjollnirs now there’s something else OP to use. I like a bit of variety.

Fire rate was capped at 300 for a reason, because of technical issues, like game’s engine, etc.
