Okay everyone hunker down and listen to this. We all see the ship stickers in game on they are kinda ignored or even not even used at all. The DLC packs place alot of emphasis on them for some reason but they don’t have real gain at the moment. I do have a few suggestions to make them better! (Suggestions subject to change as people comment)
Option 1: Custom Stickers
Allows you to upload a custom picture for a sticker for lets say, 1000 GS. The picture must be no bigger than 500 x 500 pixels and must be approved by an moderator or GM before it can be used. The sticker now can be used for all your ships and can be switched at anytime for another upload once you get bored.
Option 2: Corporation Stickers
Allows the CEO of any corp to upload a custom Sticker for the corporation. All members have the option to use it if they wish. The picture must be no bigger than 500 x 500 pixels and must be approved by an moderator or GM before it can be used.
Option 2A: Additional functions.
Having a sticker on your ship will make you show up orange in HUDs in game with other members that wear it, thus adding to the experience of having a team or a corporation in addition to having squads. This way you can see who is who and who is part of your team, corp, and squad at a moments glance.
Option 3: Stickers give unique stats
Why just have something cosmic when you can have some function as well. Imagine if stickers had certain attributes associated with them.
Like the smiley face gives you +5 to max speed, the Jericho symbol sticker gives +2 shield resistance to thermal, etc.
Some might say then that means that it could be P2W, as some stickers are permanent. If we remove the permanent factor and make stickers that are paid for just last a bit longer then the credit counterparts then we have a balanced system. (This may need further explaining, but will be edited as time progresses)
Option 4: Add an additional paid system for 2500 GS, to supplement the sticker system currently in place.
Introduce a new reworked system to paint our ships with a custom editor, allowing vinyl placements, decals, etc. Then we can share our designs for credits (If its the same ship type) to others and bid on them. (Forza Motorsport, Trackmania references)
Corporations can make custom designs for ALL ships to keep it the same for all members or make a simple template for all members to expand and add upon.
This will make the game more customized, inciting a more colorful game.
