Secret Project Ships: Special Passive Ability - Tokens

Though tbh SP ships are the easiest to make over longer periods of time, as monos are in the plenty now, and salvaging PvP/PvE loot guarantees crafting materials for parts.

I spent over 800 million credits, just to make enough resources to build all of them. Mark 2 salvaging with the cheapest current possibilities.

Most people can’t afford what I have, so they resort to other available means, like Store Bundles.

Secret Project by default should have this. It’s ridiculous that some standard ships, because they fit required rank, are allowed to have such an ability.

Point is that custom-made ships should also have custom made ability to select which resources you wish.

How and in what way will developers implement, this is their problem.

I don’t get what the system presented will do here. Did I oversee a squad bonus? In general, I dont see why this influences squadding, besides the mythical idea that squads will win you more games forever magically. If Tokens apply to squadmates aswell, well, then, bingo, sir.

 

 

I like the general idea of targeting your loot, but as I already stated once, I would rather do it via UI, and use it to concentrate all the secondary loot stuff by having your own “Salvage Crew” or something.

 

The token idea itself is a nice idea, but I am not sure, if having special operation ships having such an endgame farm ability exclusively is something i need. But thats a nice GS+ option, aswell, to buy token abilities for ships you love besides the endgame ships, and maybe sometimes win a free token slot you can apply to any ship you want.

So on the other hand, going this route isnt so bad.

 

Mentors could use tokens (or some) in low tiers on all ships in a mentoring squad, bringing this system back to early game, if it is whished to be expanded.

 

It would be a funny twist, if the token gives you one advantage, but another to the team or squad, so actually squadding with a token guy becomes greater for the wingman. So in general I like the idea, but I would think, its implementation should be adjusted from a developers perspective; definitely a good input for a brainstorm.

Squadding won’t affect token chances in any way. I simply meant that people will be more active in squads in order to get more wins not due to increased chances of winning in a squad/group.

 

Tokens should never be GS based, maybe credit based or something else. Secret Projects cost enough that you shouldn’t get any more GS paywalls in order to use such feature.

Your idea evolved a little into a bigger one. We’re going to make new ship development system. No ETA at the moment. Btw, ETA appears only when feature is ready or almost completed.

I added some more tokens.

Last token I added is xeno token, which gives you living crystals.

I suppose Token system will be in 1.4.0 or later?

In the meantime, I will keep this thread updated, if we get any new ideas.

So, we have been waiting for almost a year now and it seems that nothing changed.

Instead of making loot less random and more customized, you actually went fully random.

 

Still, I need to ask, where is this suggestion right now on your pending to-do list?
