Lol I farm guards so hard with my bubble Apollo using firestorm. Aim is OP. Not sure which I like better now…Lightbringer or Apollo. That rotation speed bonus is nice!
Yeah i usually use my Grey Falcon, Apollo, Minotaur and Nodachi as my lineup for R13. Either way I’m getting rewards no matter which ship I play be it berry ore or Brokk parts.
To be honest I didn’t level up every line either. I just used the R12 shortcuts from Empire Cmd and Fed Gunship to unlock the r12 gunship and tackler respectively. 4 T5 lines unlocked from grinding 2. Work smart not hard
The Jericho CovOps line was the fastest way to T5 before the idiotic levelling restraints were placed. You could get from R1 to R14 in a matter of weeks. Now you can’t do that anymore and it sucks. Xp
They’ve “levelled” out levelling. Now you gotta level every line at once to get anywhere.

I support the idea of earning new premium ship parts and parts for secret projects or destroyers with maxed ships from other ranks than r7/r10/r13 or r8/r11/r14 but this token system is not necessary imo. This is my version:
any maxed ship mounted and used (from same rank or higher) could increase the chance for ship part loot drop, highest chance with four maxed ships mounted
new premium ship parts would drop only if same rank or higher is mounted and used, ships from same rank increased loot chance the most, other higher rank maxed ship would also increase chance but not that much
if, only same rank ships are mounted and used, e.g. r7, then only r7 ship parts would be possible to get with the gretest chance
if, multiple maxed ship are mounted, lets say r7/r8/r9/r10, but only the r7 is used then also only r7 ship part loot was available though the other maxed ships would increase the chance as well
if, multiple maxed ship are mounted, lets say r12/r13/r14/r15, and only r15 ship is used then there would be a chance for r15 secret project parts/materials but since the other ships are lower in rank, those would not increase the drop rate despite of being maxed
if, r7/r8/r9/r10 ships were mounted and r8, r9 and r10 were used then there would be a chance for r7 premium ship parts (with x4 increased chance but with less chance increase for each than if same rank was used), also chance for r8 DD parts/materials (with x3 chance increase), and also chance for r10 premium ship parts (with x1 chace increase)
killing/assisting the kill of new premium ships or manufactured ships would also increase the chance for ship parts in loot
secret project parts would drop only with r15 ships and their chance could be increased only with r15 maxed ship
So, basically whichever maxed ship is used it would give a chance for any ship part or material for ships from the same rank or the closest one below that rank. Drop rate chance could be only increased with maxed ships from same and higher ranks.

It would be nice to choose what we want to play for and what we want to play with at the same time but as I see devs want some crowd controlling here with these restrictions. So, prolly this kind of freedom you proposed will never be allowed ever. Then again, I don’t understand why was it necessary to push even more people play r7/10/13 if these were the most popular ranks anyway.

I’m not convinced. I’ve found once you hit a dry spell of any rare part (premium tokens or rare ores) you hit a dry spell for all of them. I’d have to test with R8 / R11 tomorrow and see if it works in reverse.
No need to make SP specific. Just give out to any ship as module, booster or something.

For Secret Projects you need a ton of resources or grind time to build all of them.
You don’t know, how many people buy such resources from Store Bundles. A lot!
I can speculate that Gaijin recently shifted their economic model and focus, so such implementation would actually make more sense, because they won’t say NO to even more money. I can smell it, even from here!
