It would be handy to be able to change the main module of crafted ships. I’ve had my Octo for ages and its tri-drone module just ain’t cutting it. I need the heavy drones one. :I
Huh. I don’t have a secret project ship, but I get the feeling that if I did, I would agree.
So long as it took some amount of resources to do. Less than the 1/4 (maybe?) resources you put in that you lose while salvaging.
You can select the main module, it’s the same with diff stats, you choose one from 3:
Default, variant 1, and variant 2.

The big deal is the fact that it takes forever to amass enough resources to make parts if you don’t spend money on the game. I ain’t rich.
Oh, and you lose all the synergy too!
What are the modules anyways? Looking to see if I wanna save up for Octopus or Mjolnir.

Losing any resources is a ripoff. I’m poor now. Spent all me money on new innards for my PC.

You lose all of your credits and keep 67% of your resources.
However, you also lose 100% of your Monocrystals!
They are gone forever!
