Uhmari didn’t leave the game because of that. Ok, here’s the story (90% right, iirc): Uhmari got in a huge fight with the devs over the new matchmaking system. Because of this “discussion”, the devs threw a tantrum and removed ALL controlled systems we had (4-6 at the time) and promptly kicked him off the dev suggestion team, or w/e it’s called. Uhmari then threw his own tantrum and quit SC, leaving EVO to die. Everyone pretty much went their own way after that, though most of the pilots migrated to STO.

The devs don’t control WHERE we take the fight to. We lost the sectors and moved to Fed the following day, joining Dynamis’ curbstomping of everything around Fed, seeing as Sector Conquest still values numbers over anything else. Dynamis’ zerg rush of the sectors still lasted about 3 weeks after this, iirc.

Specifically dying to hitting their deformed hulls at high speed as I pass by after they die to my fire. I swear you cheat and always make them drift just enough for me to hit them. And when I’m pulling those strain every sinew medals because retardgineers on my team didn’t bring nanodrone cloud, those collisions tend to be fatal.
