not wanting to interrupt your debate, but i think, SC has simply no direct competitor at all, which is why you could argue in both directions equally.

as with the last thread, i think the problem is with beacon denial. high tech destros now have abilities far more potent than gravies, when it comes to easy damage. so that can’t be it.
