Ive eard so much about that game… And all I know is that it will released in 2015 and you have to pay monthly, and a single ship can cost from 40 to thousands of dollars? I dont get how that game works and I dont get the hype

eh, you got it sorta backwards. 

 

Its a standalone game. 60 bucks retial price and its yours with the online P2GL model in the future. Yes the release date is 2015, and the “packages” they offer now which is a lot of bonus in game content, ships, access to alpha, beta, and physical items, can vary in price.

It’s made by the father of the wing commander series, so the guy knows some stuff about doing videogames, and most precisely, space sim videogames.

 

As they already told you, the game will be a single pay one, you don’t need to pay subscription.

 

The game will be a single campaing and cooperative game, with a future implementation of server PvP and PvE, but never a whole united server as EvE.

 

The game has been crowfunded since start, and the hype is so much they got 35 million dollars from people buying the preorder packages.

 

It will have top end graphics and it’s being designed with oculus support so inmersion will be top notch. Also, you control your pilot in stations, and you can wander around your hangar, the capital ship, or whatever.

 

Most of my Eve old corp mates already ordered at least one package, but most of them already invested 200 $ on it, and one of them even one big package, I think worth around 500 $.

 

I’m following the game closely, and I hope it won’t be another fail like X-rebirth.

Yep, I spent about 225 dollars already, as I have a Super Hornet and Origin interceptor as well. You can see, that Im preparing to live the life of the “Escort” pilot.

Ok, back to Joystick.

 

adding a Joystick Control can´t be so heavy, it must not be perfect from beginning. A Simple one for Testing, is better as no one!

 

Okay I´m playing Starconflict only for a short Time an havent played better Ships.

 

What about a Joystick+Keyboard Control like Mouse+Keyboard, configurable for all Controls of the Ship?

I do agree with joystick mode… more keybind more fun…

 

Let see such as example : TERA Online. It has completely gamer option what the gamer’s yearning, such as Controller/Joystick mode, so… it is a must this STAR CONFLICT has its own joystick mode…

You guys fail to realize that having a joystick puts you at a disadvantage when it comes to aiming right? 

OK so we have Joystick support now, how about allowing us to use joystick for flight control and the mouse for aim.

As JPhack says Joystick puts you at an disadvantage when it comes to aiming, but I have 2 hands.

If I could use the mouse for aim and weapons control and the joystick for flight control it would improve things.

 

As it is at the moment I am back to keyboard and mouse, I tried joystick once yesterday and couldn’t hit the side of a barn from 10 paces!

I could fly the ships better though so was harder for others to hit me.

 

For the Dev’s please consider some sort of hybrid joystic / mouse support.

That would actually be useful, and i dare say a bit op compared to KB.
