Sure, it makes it easier, but not having it wouldn’t break an already extremely strong role.

 I don’t even fit stasis, I think the module is overvalued.

I’m okay with sacrificing Stasis on the altar of Balance

Overvalued or not, it is a very handy module that makes you able to apply good DPS before the enemy starts evading your attacks again.

You’ll see me somewhere in the middle of your team, most likely. Sometimes maybe even a bit too deep, I just don’t like cowering behind a rock at the other side of the map.

Ah, this reminds me of the time NASA was in a combat recon, and my teammate was the captian, and we were all intys. Needless to say we just flew staright to the enemy spawn, killed the captian in less then 10 seconds flat, and ran back to the nearest engy…

I do this A LOT, as well. All I hear is friendly Frigates going apeshit on me cause I’m going ahead in the field. I’m actually forcing our lines forward so the offensive gets a little support and this is how I’m repaid? By getting called names? F*** you. At least I’m not a cowardly mut that hides at the end of the xxxx’ world to be killed by a lone Recon.

 

By forcing the lines forward, you’re actually pushing ALL your ships into supporting and helping eachother.

I tend to tell the team in chat that I’ll be very mobile as a captain but have no intention of suiciding so they neither need to do a mad rush after me nor go crazy shooting me instead of the enemy. Usually works and the entire team becomes more dynamic for it.

you guys are all doing it wrong. Engineer captain warp gate straight up 5km. Wait for cooldown and warp gate again. It’s better than recon because Engineer has drones and OP torpedoes and warp gate and healing and energy never runs out its pure win and you’ll never let your team down. Anything else is amateur. This game is FRIGATE CONFLICT inty captains is worst thing you can do I play high tier so I know this.

But in all seriousness, with two engineers you can double-warpgate an entire frig ball straight onto the enemy captain and end the game in seconds. I gave up any hope of successfully coordinating that in a random long ago thouhg so it’ll remain a job for interceptors.

Report them. That’s what i do with ‘calling names’. It’s funny how T2 nubs call others stuff while they barely started tho.

So i’m not the only one who gave up on trying to coordinate a pool of randoms… Maybe half of them don’t even speak english - and they play an international game ffs…

hate to sound like a reminiscing old fool but the ‘old’ T3 was filled with random teamplays back then. releasing T5 spoiled that.

I never experienced that golden age. When I originally joined Star Conflict back in 2012 it looked like this:

I quickly got bored of being the only player (yes, this was regular PVP) and left the game for a year, lol.

Sad thing is - with the current synergy progression, I’d very much like that for tier 5 lool. Beats getting stomped over and over only to earn 700 synergy per match.
