As an ECM pilot (after last patch… before i was cov ops) i have to say: OPener is totally right in one point: stunlock is lame and unskilled!
Actually there is nothing broken in ECMs … stasys itself is broken and shouldn’t exist at all.
I d say… remove stasys, decrease cooldowns of Ion Emitter and Energy Absorber … and make F more viable (atm it makes u die in 70% of cases… so just let people move some seconds before the end … OR [even better to me] remove the inability effect, reduce time duration… and make it just a total invulerabile 5 sec skill wile u can move).
Than ecms are good. Stasys is a joke…
The problem I see with energy absorption is that it’s far too effective. It prevents even those ships with the biggest capacitors and highest recharge rates from using afterburners or modules in the blink of an eye.
