Also, might I also bring it to the attention of whoever said it (I believe it was OmegaFighter…) that creating a new player friendly environment was not necessarily the goal of the game’s progression? Please do correct me otherwise.

This is BULLSHIT! There is no excuse for depriving the vets of this! We’re the people who pumped money into the game so it could survive this long, and our reward is “xxxx you, got mine!”?
I’d simply make another account if I hadn’t already bought all of the DLC and bought about $250 worth of extra GS aside from that.

So new players get stuff for just ranking up and vets have to farm hundreds of hours in open space to get the same stuff. Good job devs

I agree that the actions as far as rank rewards are a bad move, but you must remember that this is a free game.
If you find that your “work” here isn’t being profitable enough why don’t you move to Russia and apply to work for them? Xp

The Dev’s are cutting there own throat with this because so many vets in my Corp and others have flat out said they will not be buying GS’s anymore if this isnt sorted.
I loved this game but to be totally xxxx on like this has stopped me from buying GS’s aswell and I won’t be recommending it to anyone again either…
Even the Dev’s on BFp4Free who didnt give a xxxx about the player base back dated the level up rewards for everyone when they changed it like this…
Oh though don’t get me wrong, I’m not putting another cent in to this game until they fix some of the more recent major fkups such as the rank up requirements and now this rank up newbie prize.
