[Guide] For Crafting or Farming Materials For The Destroyers

Hail Everyone… This Guide Is To Find Locations For Crafting Materials For Building Destroyers Easily & Other Stuff Also!

=======================================================================================

I guess it’s time to read carefully…

The drop rate of Neodium :-

Green ------> High drop rate of Neodium
Yellow ------> Location is not checked
Orange -----> Moderate drop rate of Neodium
Red ---------> Rare

Where can I find Neodium? :-
1- Mysterious Container - rare, about 1 to 7.
2- Lost Cargo - very rare.

Additional Information from our corporation members who shared there finding on Impure Neodium & Neodium Plates & Enriched Berrylium & Impure one from Open Space!

Beryllium:-
Reports shows that beryllium was found in…

1-) Stripped Deposit on a Cargo Loot.
2-) Raiders Range from Pirates loot (enriched berry as well).
3-) It can be also found on the [Mendes IX station] which is Jerchio station on the neutral cargos
4-) Berylium drops from neutral cargos in Minning Site.
5-) Scrapyard from different type of minerals.

Neodium:-
Reports shows that Neodium was found in…

1-) Scrapyard from Valuable Minerals (Impure Neodium) and Cargo Loot (Neodium plates).

Good job, but could u rename the map for sectors in english and i think u forgot alpha7 complex and those above sectors in empire.

Thanks ORCA1911, this post will soon be updated to what you have suggested  & also with updated & new information! (^.^)

No problem man, i was like reading it a few times and something was odd lol.

Post it is been updated (^.^)!

Update #1

What new changes are? :-

Update #2

What new changes are? :-

-Added Images how the drops look like (^.^)

-And more

Enjoy! :012j: .

Aah now it’s better, even tho i know cyrillic, latin is my fav. It seems a bit odd that the jericho space has the most yield on berilium, eitherway, nice post, helped me quite a bit with my berilium shortage also stumbled across several gold mines lol

Awesome then. Can we have source data for those maps then?

to make it easier for you and to answer your question here is it your answer…

the source is from our corporation members & there experiences in farming on Open Space. :).

No, What I mean with all due respect - source data for those maps, as for example:

  • we collected in total 3063 valuable minerals in Water Harvest and they yielded  17 impure neodium and 2 beryllium

  • we destroyed 1253 cartel transports  in Poseidon Complex and they yielded one impure neodium, so they are not worth farming at all

I am asking because actually the map itself says absolutely nothing if it’s not properly defined. What “High drop rate of Neodium means?” it drops one in 10 one in 100 or maybe one in 1000 attempts?

Also - sample base has to be big - actually proper data starts to  form from a little over a thousand samples.

I assume you have something like this:

Sector Amount of minerals collected Amount of impure neodium found
Water Harvest 1172 27
Poseidon Complex 1276 25

Can we see that, please?

Personally, for me it’s enough to point me in the right direction which helped, now i got a handfull of places i have to look which is better instead of every single sector in the game and pray to god to get something. Telling people that ie every third ore in terra gives berilium would backfire so hard i dont wanna think about it. Better leave it as it is, not-that-precise. The only details that could come in handy would be like, go to terra and hunt the smuggler or something like that.

Really? Cause I did my one hundred hour research (which is now around 140h) and i.e. I found  more neodium in Imperial Transport than in Poseidon Complex (per 100 containers - minerals, cargo, etc). On the map ITH is marked red, Poseidon complex - green. Also in Smugglers Hideout - smuggler drops neodium and beryllium at the almost same rate as farming minerals (about 1 beryllium per 2 hours farming). Also - from my farming experience Neodium plate in mysterious containers drops 1 in 42, not 1 in 7 (sample size 1128 containers). So as I appreciate work involved in creating such map - they are only as the original thread on russian forum - speculations unless supported with hard data.

From my experience - drop ratio is not bounded to the sector at all, just to the type of container. I don’t have enough data to correlate it to danger level (R7 or R10 sector), but just enough to say - in every sector the highest probability of getting those rare materials is from mining Valuable Minerals, Large Minerals and Smugglers (probability per container). You can get neodium plate or monocrystal from Lost Cargo, but probability of drop from what I have recorded is less than 1/400 for neodium and less than 1/5000 for monocrystal.

And if anyone is interested we are not talking about “every third” we are talking one in 3-4 hundred for berry ore per mineral or one per 100-150 destroyed smugglers.

Can you be like calm and not so aggro about everything. Thank you. To get the data you want, someone has to knock on the devs doors and ask how they coded the drop rate or spend a few weeks/months gathering raw data from every single sector. Let’s face it, aint nobody got time fo’ dat.

I’m sorry to say this… but it may seem impossible to me, I’m not a robot to give all those statistics for each sector and to each member who found something in Open space, it seems that it will take a hell alot of my time to do that for you really…

I don’t want to say No[Which is the right answer for sure]… but I will say… or [let me see what I can do] :fed001: ,

Thank you ORCA1911… really this is the exactly the right reply :012j: . Direct & to the point really :001j: , Thank you again :012j: .

I spent a few weeks on gathering raw data from minerals and as soon as destroyers appeared - about neodium plates in mysterious containers. As the sample size for mysterious containers I have collected is enough for concluding results, I still posted my temporary findings in another thread. Sample data for minerals is pretty much accurate as well. The only thing I need bigger sample data is just for getting if there is any correlation between frequency of neo/berry drop rate and danger level of the sector. As for now there is no significant difference between i.e. Imperial Transport Hub and Water Harvest. Here and there if you pick a thousand minerals you will will get around 30 neodium.

I am not so aggro about everything - people were saying “go to this sector, go to that sector” and I wanted to verify that. Please see this link about the drop rates and how I was testing them.

PS. Yes, I have a lot of time.

If you didn’t draw this map based on data, so how it was produced then?

If you didn’t draw this map based on data, so how it was produced then?

It is produced from what our corporation members report & how much they got from it & which sector they got…including me as well. If you read my post carefully you will see that all what I posted is indication to which sector got more common of neodium or berrylium depending to the multiple reports that I got from our corporation memebers. even multiple reports on the same sector & nearly the same results which lead to that those reports is valid enough & proven.

It is impossible for me to do to go sector by sector and see out of 10 how much Neodium or berrylium I get…

I spent more than 1 month to get those information & including our corporation members who informing me about there findings on Open Space including my time analyzing those multi reports from each one of our corp. memebers, thats more than enough to prove that our information are valid including my experiences on Open Space & my findings too.

And as I said before and I’m saying it again

Now that’s calm  :004j:

As for the berilium, only thing i noticed in the droprate, it drops more frequently if it is obtained from a difficult source. It can be either a sector with unavoidable schitton of enemies and a lesser number of ores OR transports with heavy escort (can be recognized by 4-ore drops instead of 3-ore when killed and the escort ships drop nuthin’). The mysterious cargo sometimes gives enriched which is fairly random but these days i get it more often but only when passing through sectors like water harvest, scrapyard and terra, in short sectors just before entering the ones in the middle of the map. There is no limit on the danger level of a sector, just plain difficulty to survive when searching/finding.

Thats all i know, needs some serious time invested in it to prove it or make some real drop data.
