This should be removed or at least made so that it will be very hard to aim with.

I do - It makes others play around it and punishes them if they do not. Gives you huge edge if you outnumbered.

EC is way too powerful it basically gives you 4 sec immortality and it is way to easy to aim with it.
In other words, it is broken = very bad balanced
On side;
also, the color of that beam is read as some other weapons are so it is very hard to see it if someone is using Ions or some other red-colored weapon.

It does not give you immortality.

If you use it at right way-time it does give you 4 sec immortality in a way, let me explain,
as my friend would say; basically, the enemy team should stop shooting on you to prevent that effect.
Four seconds of working time when an enemy team should not shoot on you is equal to four seconds immortality.
