Workshop - salvageable items should be listed there, to review the list of components

This is a very important suggestion.

In my opinion, it is much better. Developers, please, implement it!

Example:

5privk.jpg

Please, add the “Salvage” option in the Workshop. Instead the list of “Required components” in such case, it would show us the list of “Salvageable components” , if we decide to salvage some item.

This would work on any T1-T5 mkII/III/IV/V item or Kit. We would clearly see and know, what we would get in this case.

How to do so? Simple. When you press on the “Salvage” option, it gets “pushed in”. You can clearly see it, when it is “pushed in - active”. If you press it again, it will be normal again - inactive.

This only works for the “Salvage” option, when you click on it with a mouse.

Additionally, Armory components would have to be migrated to the Workshop or the Workshop would have to have an option to review such equipment, under Salvageable component** s section, which would have to be added in this case.**

Benefits: We would know, what kind of components we could get BEFORE and NOT AFTER salvage of each item. The amount and type of resources would be clearly displayed on the HUD in the Workshop.

Thank you.

+1.

I want to be able to figure out how many crystal shards or pure silicon I need to craft a module, not just a screened battery!

This is essential.

Make it happen.

I cannot stress this enough.

This feature is really needed!

Well, I summon the one from R4ge, to forward this.

Good suggestion.

I agree on the idea - forwarded to the Devs

We all agree. Thank you.

This suggestion only needs developers now and some effort.

Hello, this is nice idea, but im not sure if we would be able to implement it, because it’s pretty complex. Perhaps later. Please don’t feel like we are not listening, we do, however most of your ideas are complex and need further thinking and its hard to develop. Please remember that we do have a list of nice ideas, and this one is there. The aswer to the matter is we are discussing it and if it’s not implemented now, it might be later.

Kind Regards,

Maybe my explanation is too complex, but the idea is actually much simpler?

I may ask one of my friends to edit the screenshot or to “photoshop” it. This will show, if the idea is understandable.

We can have Manufacture mode and Salvage mode. Both of them.

When we enable one, the other one gets disabled.

You can select one and once you selected it, it gets visually pushed in. The other one will remain normal.

If you got Manufacture mode, you can only craft items or weapons, like mark V.

If you got Salvage mode, you can only salvage.

On the left side of the screen, below Components, there should be a section for Salvageable items.

When you select some mark II/Kit, mark III/Kit, mark IV/Kit, mark V/Kit item, you will also get it on your right, where the Screen will show the items name and under Salvageable item, you will get listed components.

Example: (Salvage mode) - components gained from salvage

T5 mark IV Shrapnel Cannon

In the Salvage mode, there will be shown item on the list (selection), and on the right (description of the weapon).

1st item’s slot is always the item which will be salvaged. In this case, purple slot.

The rest are salvageable components.

If I am online I am ususally open to discuss each suggestion

So does Koro use this opportunity regulary and I am happy to spend the time with him or anyone of you regarding this

Please be aware, I volunteer on this and leading a major corp, so I cant always offer time

I have just commented here.

Perhaps we will add something like you have suggested.

Maybe my explanation is too complex, but the idea is actually much simpler?

Even if it is simple in essence, imagining and implementing are two very different things. Writing something in plain English is easier than programming/developing it

For example my chat reader has a very simple concept but still has thousands of lines of code

Perhaps we will add something like you have suggested.

Thank you.

I gave you an idea, you can refine it.

What matters that the outcome is the same, even if it’s slightly different.

We got a real one now. It’s yellow!

Btw, since we have a slider now, I think this idea might be simpler to implement now.

Aliskosan, when it comes to the Workshop, this is the last requirement we need.

If you got any questions or if my suggestion needs additional explanation, let me know.
