Winning vs. Losing

The suicidal torpedo is more about last ditch survival possibility than getting a kill.  Going out kamikaze is better than going out a sitting duck.

Again, the game rewarding bad play.

How does that reward bad play ory?

A last attempt at survival, or atleast taking your enemy down with you is a good thing I’d say.

All the while killing yourself in the process, if it actually kills you. I never approved of that tactic and I know it’s a game, but would you toss a grenade at your feet if you’d have a chance at killing the guy knifing you?

Usually if you drop a grenade at your feet you are already dead…

If I will die anyway by his knife? Heck yes.

The point is the game mechanics are seriously flawed. 

 

My rewards should be VERY high as I survived longer and i should recieve a LARGE bonus for NOT dying. 

 

But with the missile system, even if such a reward is in place, people would seriously still spam and die and gain missiles. 

 

Like if you do not die in a match and your team wins, you get either A. 100,000 credits or B. Another additional loot chance.

Not really, its just a bonus to stay alive, after all, you want to win…

Thats actually a point. 

Example: I died today in a battle after archiving quite a lot in that match. As result I took an other ship to continue my “flow” (I really had good times in that one since most opponents ignored me). Post-Battle-Rep indicated that I reached both synergy caps on the used ships.

 

So, If you really want to grind synergy (on a farming level) you HAVE TO DIE!

And thats really annoying imo. I dont want better or MOAR rewards if I play well in a match and dont die… but it should be rewarded somehow and the best idea would be by rising the synergy cap. 

Just give a bonus amount of Synergy over the cap to your ship (even better Free Synergy) if you survive the whole match WITH at least 1 kill. That way it won’t allow people to just sit back the whole game.

We already have captains hiding in the middle of nowhere and people grabbing the bombs and flying off.  You would only encourage more of this.  There is currently no reason for map control and movement in this game outside the beacon missions.
