Hey guys, I don’t know how bad is this for you, but I’m tired of this, I’ve set my self for EUROPE only for a reason and I don’t want to play a lottery of lucky or not am I to actually play on selected server…
I’m playing for like 2 weeks and this is just so bad I’m getting tired of this, every single time I’m sent to US servers with 220+ pings, to Russian servers with 120+ pings, I mean even on EUROPE the ping is 70 for me, already not at it’s best, but seriously please why can’t this work as intended…
I don’t want to play with such pings it’s annoying my ship is jumping all the time, flying is pain in the *** as it’s not responsive at all, I don’t care about waiting I prefer to play with playable ping and not just being able to play.
It’s been 5 games in a row now I’m thrown into US server with 220+ping it’s bad, it’s not playable and I ask for understanding and letting my “selection” count and not just be there for the looks.
Because if you queue for more than a set amount of time (3 minutes or so) the matchmaker disregards server preference to get you a match. And each region has its own peak hours, so if you play during a different regions peak, well where else do you expect to play?
I expect to play on EUROPE peak time on EUROPE server, it’s simple as that, if I need to wait 10 minutes for that I prefer to wait as well, playing with 220ping is really not called playing anymore for me…
Everyone has to deal with the problem equally (well except for the Russians), you’re not the only one who has to deal with xxxx pings on servers far from them, so stop acting like an entitled baby. Unless you can magic up a more sustainable population of players, some concessions will have to be made if we want to play more than one match an hour.
To be honest you gave me an answer on how to counter it, I’ll just have to manually try to get in the game in 3minutes until I success, thanks
You really don’t need to call me a baby for wanting to be able to play the game, just like I said I choose EUROPE because it’s the only place I’m able to play, otherwise I would not even care about that.

EU has the least amount of servers after Asia, it’s rather unlikely that you end up on a European server tbh. We can only hope that after release we get more players and thus the situation changes.
EU peak times is roughly 1700-2100 (GMT 0). If you play in this time frame your games will be split roughly 60 - 40 between EU and RU with the region set on any
Yes, it should, but I went few times in a row in EU peak times into US servers and this is not about me anymore I for one will just go out of the game if I dislike it, and I mean why should I ruin my nerves on playing with lags anyways, I’m staying just because I don’t want to leave the team with 1 less player…
Still just like I said there should be an option for people who have no problem waiting to have a normal game.
Stop putting me on servers where I cannot play at all!!!
USA ping: 500-700
Russia ping: 200-400
EU ping: 60-80
What is the point of putting me on a server where I can’t even fly??? How the hell is that better than waiting longer? Do tell!

I’m very, VERY annoyed by this. Technically, you ruin many of my games believing that I rather go on a server and wobble around like a giant sextoy in space rather than waiting for a GOOD MATCH. Let me tell you: NO I DON’T!
Right now 9 out of 10 matches I’m put on Russia/USA which is bollocks!
Seems I’m permanently condemned to the Russian servers - during the last two days, I never had a SINGLE match on EU server, always on Russian… Not only I have xxxx ping there, but I don’t speak Russian so I cannot communicate with my teammates (Since most of them doesn’t speak English).
There is an option called “Any region”. And I did NOT select that, so there is no reason to put me on anywhere else other than what I selected: Europe.
I still bravely fly my inties and fighters in spite of space monkeys. I can manage an ECM, but covops and recon is completely out of the question.
My favourite sport is Russian server inty flying. It’s wonderful seeing huge collision damage come out of nowhere, and then having the last little bit of hull taken down by some random dude who sees me wobbling.
