I dont know how this could still be happening but i was in a game today and have been in several before where we lost a couple players in our group and the two left had no chance at getting past the stage we were in but keep fighting. They will like hide in a hole and just sit there and kill right now as i write this im in one that has been going on for like 45 min and there is nothing and i mean NOTHING than makes a gamer more pissed off than just sitting there watching the screen and praying to god that lighting strikes the placers they are at and the lights go out. Its just useless i think if something doesnt happen i will eventually leave the game because of this i dont want too but man thats just to much for me. LET US OUT OF THE instance PLEASE PLEASE.
sounds like he’s talking about pve. If the Team dies and one Player is still left, but has good Placement, the bots cant kill that Player.
I’ve had this issue a couple times as well.
You have to watch that one guy lollygag all the time and you cant leave without losing your share of rewards. And your ships are locked in that Mission till that one lollygagger dies. (waited 30 minutes once)
My Suggestion for the thread opener:
if you leave a battle, Switch ships in Hanger if you have more. Then you can fly something else.
Leaving star conflict because of lollygaggers? Seems harsh to me. Maybe your playing to much pve, try more pvp.
Or how about PvE automatically respawns you if you are dead for 60 seconds? Or how about a “vote to kill the afker” so if 3 people are dead they can blow up the guy who clearly isn’t trying to win.
I see now that i was a little under the weather the day i wrote that seeing that im on some fairly strong meds for a back injury. what happens is sometimes a player leaves so your stuck holding the bag on a doomed mision. Sometimes and this situation happens more is when everyone or lets say even half the team is dead the others haveing no chance at wining will find a spot like he was talking about earlier in thread and sit there and just kill stuff as they come at him. He does not even try to win he just try’s to lose stay alive for as long as he can. Not only is my fighter i went with stuck but all my ships are stuck untill this nancy boy finally has had enough and dies.
As long as i have ur attention there was another thing that bugs the xxxx out of me about this game and that is making us stay at the hanger while we look for groups. I would really like it if you guys would like make us a lobby to show off our ships talk to each other have duels that would be awsome because a bored gammer is not a happy camper. Anyway thanks so much for ur time i may get on here from time to time just to see if any of my ramblings actually get some attention…
Hi! Unfortunately, not much you can do vs those people. You have to wait, or just lose the rewards.
Also, it will be good for everyone if you use the “return” key in your keyboard a bit, so people can understand your posts instead of facing a huge wall of test without any punctuation or format.
yeah, that happens sometimes. I just go get a cup of coffee and surf the interwebs or go talk with my wife or do something else till the fight is over.
You can of course, leave at once, if you don’t want to wait. Then you have to switch ships in your hangar to fly the next match.
I play all three factions and therefore have about 9-12 Ships in eacht tier fitted ready for combat.
If you don’t have any extra ships, then you’ll have to wait. This is an annoying issue, but i wouldn’t know how to cope with it.
Hmm, mini games or Lobby for Que players. I don’t think that is going to happen. Personally, I don’t care. In que, i chat with teamspeak corp mates or surf the interwebs.
Sometimes i work on some digital art projects while waiting.
But i agree, when they get the rest of the issues with this game sorted, they could add something to make the wait less boring. (Waiting room mini games “troll the biomorph”) Or throw all quers for one tier in a system (lobby) and let them interact.
