I’m making more now with the 50 percent bonus than before they made the changes. I will agree that they need to make the 50 percent bonus permanent. The contracts and loyalty reward you more if your a good player. I won 21 PvP games in row yesterday and completed a ton of contracts so for me it seems like it rewards you more for being a good pilot. So there is incentive for you to do well.

I can agree that the previous Loyalty gain was too much but they’ve nerfed it into the ground now.
I recently added all the numbers to check my Loyalty gain per hour averaged on ALL my contracts:
Rank 5 - 8 Total Contracts
2775 Per Hour - 1 Hour cooldown
333.33 Per Hour - 18 Hour cooldown
53.57 Per Hour - 7 Day cooldown

I need 47000 for my next rank and that means I would have to play roughly 14 hours to rank up. I’m a semi-casual person so let’s say I play 2 hours a day so that would mean I rank up in two weeks. If I want weapons at my current level (Rank 9) I would need to play for about 40 hours assuming I only use the 8 contracts I currently have. That means in almost a month I’ll have equipment equal to Rank 9 from one faction.
In the prior system players gained Loyalty compared to the amount of Reputation earned in game. I’m a horrible player so I lose a lot. Let’s say I only made about 1k per game. Games last at the longest 10 minutes. Let’s also assume I’m an idiot and I didn’t use contracts and all my games last for 10 minutes.

For simply playing the game and sucking, the gain is nearly double it’s current state and players didn’t have to do a song and dance for a contract. Contracts aren’t always filled as soon as they are picked up. Some of them are too difficult to complete for some players. They must be manually assigned and you can only do three at a time. It’s impossible not to waste time doing them so I know for a fact that the average of 3161.9 per hour is not likely and it is probably less than that.
If you think that we’re making more or appropriate amounts of loyalty now then you probably can’t math very well. Numbahs don’t lie.

Personally I’d rather see fewer Contracts with greater returns and/or Loyalty gain at one tenth of reputation earned per match.
More contracts means more time wasted trying to fill them and more ridiculous requirements. I hate chasing my own butt.
I can only think that a loyalty gain per match being brought back could turn this ruin around, it doesnt even need to be as high, a tenth of what it was before could do a lot, as it would give at least some feel or real progression back
Also cutting the times for contracts permanently in half and keeping the amount gained for this week would do very much the trick
Another point to just enable more at once as well
I rather play xcom and bioshcok then return to this more then once a day, and i love spacecombat

No, getting back LP/matches would be a mistake, because forcing people to teamplay with contracts will avoid snipe n00bs in frigs everytime.
Increasing LP/Contract is a good idea though (and eventually reducing cooldown).

You kidding me? There are a lot in T2,and I just started T3, guess what, there are EVEN MORE in T3.
People playing scenars only and trying pvp.
Full of sniping n00b frigs not moving everywhere.
And thats a real problem in this game.
You can be the best player ever, if the rest of your team is just nor moving sniping frigs, you wont win any match.

The few frigs i meet are either frontline tanks buffing a swarm of ceptors, or theyre target practice that cant shoot.
Given i just started to properly equip my t3 machines, but i see few sniper frigs and alot of ceptor swarms you barely can keep down.

Im not kidding, i had several times in T3 even guys getting the bomb (by mistake?) and holding on our beacons with the bomb in their so awesome sniping frig.
Never saw that in T2. (I even had to bump one to death to get back the bomb…)

Lol. Your in the minority in the way you think so you might want to stop and meditate on your positions. When you make a post, most people disagree with you, so you might want to take that into consideration. You also might want to stop attacking people. Calling people really bad and not very good is not the correct way to get your point across which is why you lose so many arguments. I showed my personal experience with the new loyalty system and for that you go on some rant and attack me. Real nice way to get your point across. I also just looked at your in game stats and I am a much better pilot than you so I would be careful who you call really bad. Every-time I see you in game I spank you silly. You have 63 capture points and you wonder why you can’t get any loyalty ??? Which makes you look really bad. I on the other hand have over 5000 capture points.Of course your not gaining any Loyalty because your not doing anything helpful while you play. Just search for ManiakMogg in game and look at his stats and you can clearly see why he is upset. He want’s to get LOYALTY gains because he is not a good team player but still wants to be rewarded as such.

PS : Also, if my stats are going down (even, if its a parameter i wouldnt take care of), its because i have more fun bumping useless blue sniping frigs atm, but thats another story. (And for the one time you killed me, and you’re fapping on, remember that i was alone vs 3-4 of you, so please dont tell me about spanking.)
Just give half of what you get for primary reputation awarded to your sub faction.
I get about 1k for a loss(t2), so perhaps like 250 or so, 500 seems a bit high.
That at least lets those of us who want to grind out some sub rep do just that, but not as crazy fast as before.
3 Contracts per taking is kind of small, maybe around 4 or 5?
Also, if you become a higher rank, for example 11, and your contracts are still on 10, please make it so that you get kind of more loyalty than regular, maybe [2x] on loyalty when you get a higher rank than loyalty.

You know what ticks me off about these contracts now that I feel forced to do them…all these damn beacon ones. Capture 2, repair 100 points, kill 6 drones, destroy 5 beacon attackers, etc. They aren’t hard in of themselves, but damn half the time it seems like its either a quick 3 cap, or one team gets 2 beacons and no beacon switching is going on because of camping frigs with mine fields, etc.
You’re lucky to even get 1 domination mode match an hour. Then you complete half of each contract and have to wait another hour to get another domination. I actually enjoy this mode the best because it requires everyone to move around constantly and lazy spawn sitting frigs can’t do much really. I’d rather they make these 2 hr contracts and double the loyalty gains if they aren’t going to have the map spawn at the same rate as detonation. They should also consider removing the 3 contract limit or at least make it 5.
And let’s be honest here…killing 3 enemies on one ship or god forbid killing 8 enemies with the sniper beam sure as hell does not promote team play.
I’d like to see more interesting stuff like:
Destroy or assist in killing the enemy captain
Kill the enemy captain in under 3 minutes.
As a frigate, stay across the 50 yard line for 1 minute without dying.
Don’t play a frigate for 5 games
Be within 1000m of an enemy beacon when it is destroyed by an EMP bomb.
Assist or destroy an enemy bomb runner who is within 1000m of one of your beacons.
etc…
