We’ve recently topped the scoreboards, but I want to know if we’re setting a good image for ourselves. Do our players seem friendly, or arrogant, etc.? Thanks for your responses in advance
You’re [DYN]?
Havnt seen any Issues with DYN players that stand out.
well done on the #1 spot, your going to be hated for being there !!!
Who are you?
How many of you?
and where do you fly? on what technical level?
well, since Varakiel left you and joined us don’t think we have and grudges with you xD
will have to do something with him though, have not decided what exactly
congratulations with 1st spot on behalf of Pulsar
DYN ? Always a good team to have on your side, a pain in the butt when on the enemy team but then again the challenge just adds to the fun.
Have come accross your people in battle both PVP and the few PVE, good fellows so far.
Edit: If I didn’t have anything nice to say, I shouldn’t have said anything at all.
Edit: See above.
Aces and wannabes that only hit 1st because of superior numbers.
While we have our share of average players, we do also have plenty of very good pilots.
I also find it uncool that they just troll T2 over and over again - 1st place corp should be playing with the big boys.
Many of my fellow members have only T2 ships, some (like me) climbed to T3 very recently.
I have a good impression of you guys, I´m not afraid to see you guys on the other side but seeing you on my side is an indication that my team does not suck. I have not yet interacted with your members I belive but I have a feeling you guys are pretty chill. Will be happy to fight alongside your corp for the glory of the federation.
I think Dyn has become somewhat of a (laid back) equivalent of EVE University.
Which is a good thing. The training helps and they aren’t nearly the hard-asses that the University was.

Could you qualify that statement? I personally have no EVE experience, so I have no idea what EVE University is or was.
I dont either, but I gather what it could mean is you basically pick up people who dont know jack, teach them the basics, and then they leave to go to other corps half the time.
Some of the higher ups of DYN seem pretty decent, though I take issue with their choice of faction.
Unfortunately, I’ve had more than a few games, especially as I was transitioning into Tier 2, where the biggest dicks in the fight were sporting DYN clan tags. This has done nothing to enamour the Corp or its child-corp to me.
Ive also been told on more than one occasion, when DYN2 does badly in a match w/ DYN members in it, the DYN members always tell me that DYN and DYN2 have nothing to do with each other and are in no way related.

If you’re insinuating that DYN2 (or even DYN) throws matches against DYN, that’s never happened in a DYN squad I’ve been in and against policy (to my knowledge).
Usually, the guys on my squad and I go out of their way to shoot down the other DYN2 and DYN corp members on the other team :fighter:
DYN does not throw matches to other members nor to DYN2
if you think they are report it to Faero the CEO of both corps
A bit defensive are we? Did I ever say anything about that? NO.
I said the DYN2’s in the match did horribly, while the guy from DYN said that the two groups were in no way affiliated, that both Corps are completely different and have nothing to do with the other. IE: DYN2 is not an extention of DYN.
Wow, when did this thread get necroed. I remember when yoman made this thread. Basically, when we topped the PvP charts we were worried players would get hate similar to how many players felt about EVO when they were 1st. Hence trying to stay outta drama, and nip drama in the bud if we got wind of anything. Hopefully it would dispel as many bad rumors as possible, especially because one player can ruin a reputation.
This is a long post, but I want to address everything:
We do pick up promising players that seem to be struggling because of a lack of a squad and voice chat. As a general rule (for me, at least), when looking for squad members we pick up whoever wants to play, DYN or DYN2, regardless of skill (but preference for those on TS3). Of course, that means that our experienced regular players sometimes go down a tier, we apologize if anyone feels we are swarming T2. There is no policy on which tier to play, it knida just ended up that way. It does help players learn how to play the game, and it feels good when corpmates get their win/loss over 1, first Maniac, or 20+ winstreak. And while we encourage players to stick with our corp we bear no ill will to those that leave of their own volition, and are always welcome back.
DYN and DYN2 are affiliated, DYN2 was created to expand the community and make it easier to find like-minded people (I’m sure every corp has an available players problem, and player turnover has been going up recently). DYN tends to have a few more experienced players due to the age of the corp, and therefore DYN players tend to perform better. They should not be looking down on DYN2 however, and if you remember the players that said DYN2 is not associated with DYN I’d like to know.
As with any corp, our main goal is the success of SC (I am assuming though), and unsportsmanlike conduct in game is frowned upon. This includes throwing games; we take it VERY seriously (usually autoban from corp), hence ArycSC’s reaction of getting even an inkling of the notion. However, some of our newer players are kind of still in the pub mentality, it takes some time to break. Some may get emotional with the game they love (I can name a couple on the forums). And with DYN being on the PvP board we get players who join just for the tag rather than the players; they usually don’t last long though.
