Weapon Rework.

some idea’s for a rework of weapons, should help balance the game and make it fun.

Add a new damage type - Plasma and if we add missiles, then Explosion also. this is to diversify weaknesses.

Also upgrade resistances mods to have the same.

Add passive mods for flight time on missiles

Lasers

lasers should be based on two types; Beam, And Blaster.

Beams

Channeled, They heat up over time, and play the effect of damage over time. Em/** Thermal.**

Damage: Moderate Over time

Travel speed: instant

No Internal cool down

Overheating: 18s

O-Range: 3250

Fall Off: 0.25

Blasters

Similar to Plasma Weapons, but more effective against shields (instead of hull). Em** / **Thermal.

Damage: Moderate

Travel speed: 1750-2250ms

1 Second Internal cool down

Overheating: 7 shots

O-Range: 2750

Fall Off: 0.55

Plasma Weapons

Plasma Blaster

Blasters work in the same way as they do now, charges that are fast, but do moderate damage. Plasma/** Kenetic **** Dmg**

Damage: Moderate

Travel speed: 1750-2250ms

No Internal cool down

Overheating: 25 shots

O-Range: 2750

Fall Off: 0.75

Plasma Charge

Plasma charges are a slower reload, higher damage weapon. they also have faster charge speed. Plasma/** Kenetic **** Dmg**

Moderate-High

Travel speed: 2750-3250ms

Internal cool down: 3-4 seconds

Overheating: 20 shots.

O-Range: 2750

Fall Off: 0.55

Railguns

Snipergun

Extremely long range sniper gun. Thermal** / **Kenetic Dmg

Travel speed: 7.500m/s

Damage: High

Internal cool down: 5-6 seconds

Autocannon

Shoots out extremely fast weapon fire, but has lower effect against shields. shreds armor. light to moderate damage. Thermal** / **Kenetic Dmg

Assault Torpedo’s

topedo’s are slower, but higher damaged weapons. highest weapon damage in game. ment for larger, slower or stationary targets. Has a 1000 explosion / splash radius Thermal** / Kenetic/ Explosive **** Dmg**

New idea’s for weapons

Lasers

Disruptors cannons: weapons that have a 5-6 second cooldown, but shoot 3 times, with 2 laser blasts (one on left, one on right)

deals moderate damage. Replaces Pulse beams

Meson Blasters

Works similar to heavy plasma, larger heavy hitting, deals damage over time to shielding. replaces heavy plasma

Autocannon

Extremely fast shooting auto-cannons, Replaces Rapid fire rail guns.

they do constant damage, much faster then any weapon in game now, ROF would be around 720. 25 impact
