Waz'got into you devs?

I built a waz’got, since I’m such an engie fan. Got it to level 8 straight away after spending about an hour figuring out how the xxxx levelling system works.

 

First game I got 11 kills and top score, second game got 9 kills and top score, third game got 10 kills and top score. Considering I’d never flown it before, that’s rather ridiculous and especially for an engineer…  It has the speed, maneouvrability and DPS of an empire gunship, with the tank of a guard, and the tools of an engineer. It just makes all other factions totally irrelevant, just like thar’ga and tai’kin.

 

Why is it that every single alien ship that comes out is crazy OP and then progressively gets nerfed after a few months, once everyone has one? This game development model is crazy and unsustainable in my opinion.

you are greatly overplaying it’s maneuverability/speed, it is slower than an imperial engineer in a lot of cases, and yes, due to their healing engineers can be the most resilient frigates in a fight

What ship can NOT do that at rank 8?

they seem even more op in rank 15 tho.

 

i will also level one, but i guess i wont use it until its grown up.

it at least looks sick from the other side; at least my gauss cannon seemed not to even dent r15 wazaps

Did you expect to tear it apart with a gauss? 

everything is for money without money the ship you can not develop it and after two years to rank 15 so pushing players to pay to buy with real money the game has become a commercial essence is it is eaten to develop it with money else you need at least year two

 

really funnt making a module that can kill a destroyer in 1 hit

normally everything is money the owners of the game are greedy so they did the game just to suck up money expect a lot of money or blow it

Ok but I love seeing destros flying away at 1200m/s and smashing in to a wall.

if you wait for a normal game to blow it all, it’s money

Mmm i dunno guards, desstroyers, good ol minotaur before adaptives nerf - remember those times? When gauss was not an answer to pretty much everything, but actualy worked to its purpose. Just because you can harass other engies with a gauss hard, it does not make it right.

it’s not about being an answer, but even shooting such a ship does actual damage, so you see some result, even if it can tank you forever due to huge hull

 

wazgot, i dont even see the bar moving, probably because of the shield recharge kicking in fast, i dont know

 

i dont expect to kill everything with a gauss, cmon, its just a good measure usually, since its a very old weapon, and you get used to its damage

I think the main problem here is that you don’t fully understand why it’s happening.

Once you fly the waz you will probably know how to counter it easy. Or better said the do’s and don’t to fight it.

that is of course true, i havent looked at its abilities yet, and i did assume something, hence my comment, i dont know

i just switched to something more raw and brute in damage, and killed it with fire.

if whole teams come with wazgots, games get really boring tho

Well I plan on getting it to rank 15. We’ll see. But having been on the receiving end of rank 15 waz’gots I’m fairly sure it’ll be exactly the same.

The Waz’Got came out like a sheep in direct comparison with the other Ellydium ships Thar’Ga and Tai’Kin. The Wazgot was rather tame and balanced right from the start - with regard to its role as the new edg stuff on the market. Accordingly, the Waz havn’t got a real  nerf since its introduction. Its a Phoenix crossed with a Styx with additional exciting new modules and abilities (plus it can be build much more maneuvrable).

Not true: my rank9  [Waz’Got] is a strafe build, below I will compare it with the premium rank9 Empire gunship [Desert Eagle] (same Crew implants an all…):

Now, what does this tell you? Plus take into accoutn that all Waz’got drones (special modules) are capped, for example they do not passively heal and only shields or hull etc.or dosen’t heal at all.

Head on with your Interceptor easy kills don’t work atm. against a Wazgot. Git gut and try other means. Try thermal weapons, ion emitter, and positrons in old school team with ECM or Tackler… you go! But head on with inty easy kill circling doesn’t work 100% as in old school any longer …

That’s because you made it with a strafe build? Mine has 60 base roll, plus the percentage given by that special engine module = it turns like an empire gunship.

It’s more like a phoenix crossed with a brokk. Haven’t played the brokk but the phoenix is busted, so all in all this doesn’t say much.
