This would be put in as an advanced queue option - players can select certain factors of the game that they do not want under ANY circumstances, and veto them.
The options available include:
Servers:
Players can un-tick servers they do not want to play on. This means the game will ignore those servers. Obviously, you cannot queue in a server you have veto’d.
Game Size:
Players can choose to veto small (less than 4 per side), medium (less than 8 per side) and/or large (8+ per side) games.
When a veto’d match becomes available, a prompt will appear. This prompt will list all the reasons you have veto’d the match, and ask if you wish to join regardless. Example:
MATCH AVAILABLE!
A match you have veto’d is available! Do you want to join?
VETO:
Server - Russia
Game Size - Small
JOIN REFUSE
As long as the Veto is active, you CANNOT be forced into a game you do not want.
For logistical reasons, the Veto does not apply to squads - they have to use standard queue.
+1. But there needs to be a timer. As if a player do not react in a short time, other players in the game will have to wait, and that’s probably not going to happen.

No. No timer. That utterly defeats the point.
It has been made clear by quite a few pilots here that they would rather wait 15 minutes for a good game than wait 5 minutes for a bad one.
If queue times are being artificially pushed up by the sheer number of vetoing pilots, that is also a good thing - the Devs will have metrics showing that a lot of pilots utterly hate the default matchmaking system!

I think what AidenXU was saying was a short timer for you to pick join or refuse otherwise defaults to refuse. That way it’s not holding up the que waiting for someone to decide if they want
to join a game everyone else is ready and waiting for.
I agree +1 with your idea. something like this is needed.

That’s indeed what I mean. However, I think the default option should be picking join button if a player haven’t respond in a given time. As most players are probably doing something else until they heard the boom sound which means the battle will soon start.
Well if they are using the veto option and are not around to click join I would not want them AFK or them getting a game they set up to auto veto. But those are details.
Well it should be available to squads. Personally, squads should be able to go up against teams where there are no squads. I mean, people, squads are effective! It will motivate people to squad and it won’t murder que time for squads on anything other than t3 *cough bluesea and yeahalex*
