Unsportmanship Behaviour - Follow List exploit in SC Leagues

It has come to my attention that some players “abuse” Follow List, to determine, when to queue for the Leagues.

While top players/groups are online, abusers wait, until top players are in battle or offline, in order to avoid meeting them directly.

Abusers prey on weaker players. When they see them playing in the Follow List, abusers queue, so that they can get such weaker opponents.

That’s how abusers get into battle to take advantage of such situation. Usage of such tactic is only one step away from predefined matches, which defines unsportmanship behaviour as well.

I suggest the following!

Remove all game mode information from Follow List only.

Just put Offline or Online status.

Sincerely,

Koromac

This always happened in the old sec onc anyway. I don’t see the problem?

Koro is one of those weaker players.

Koro is one of those weaker players.

If that would be the case, then I wouldn’t report this exploit.

I could also use it to my own advantage, but I didn’t.

It is more likely, that you do it. I expected better of you, if that is so.

Frankly speaking i don’t think that this is a big problem.

Do I need to yell?

Do I need to yell?

No

There are more pros to having the current features than cons, I believe.

Personally, I’d add one more feature into the lists; Which tier is the player queued for? etc.

Stalker Conflict?

I do not see much of an issue, you can block afaik with ignore list.

tbh, I don’t think it’s a huge issue. Would it be nice? Yes, but there are far more pressing issues atm (I.E. more serious ways to abuse mechanics in dreadnoughts)

I don’t think it’s a big problem either, eventually in a league the strong players will have to fight each other. The newer players should know what they’re getting into by queuing for that.
