Greetings my fellow mercenaries,I would like to introduce myself.My name is XofJSA in game.And
recently had a great opportunity to help in the community by streaming the Iridium Wars tournament.
And Evil(Corp Leader of GoD) and myself have been giving the green light to present this to you guys.
I hope that many of you who did not get into the last tournament will be able to join us in this one.The
time for this tournament has been moved up a bit to try to accommodate more player on the west coast
of the US,as the last one had the players getting up at 3 am to play.I hope this will allow more player to
part and get into the action.
This will be a 4vs4 Tier 3 Team Death-match: 3 rounds, and there can only be one winner…
Every corporation that enters needs to have 8 people total , 4 playing 4 in reserve.
Optional : If you have the four in reserve Your corp can enter a second team to play in this
tournament, 4 playing pilots and the 4 reserve will also battle a matches
That means if both of your teams end up in the finals and they need to play vs each other,
only ONE of them can earn the rewards , because there can only be one winning Squad!!
But a 4 man team is a must, if they only have 2 in reserve… They cant play.

Random Gift : Steam Gift (For this Gift you need to have Steam , so we can Gift it to the person,
but we’ll contact that person in game. If u don’t have steam, make an account and link your
Star Conflict account to it or else it just move’s to the next person in line…)
Every player in that 4 man squad will receive the same reward!
We are going to have a gift that we’ll give away randomly between all contesting corporations…
The gift will go to the corporation’s team that gave us a spectacular show , but did NOT win.
(we’ll keep track of the twitch channels where there will be live streaming. and we’ll keep the
comments of our viewers in mind.)

Staring at 12pm US Pacific time (that would 3pm EDT)? or earlier?
I think it is good to have some kind of rewards since by default custom games don’t provide any, and it would be good to have them also for the 2nd/3nd places not only the first place (winner).
Not sure why you want only small 4man teams.
I don’t understand your rule regarding team size
it says games are 4v4, but each team must have 4 reserves, so in order to participate you need 8 people? And if you do not have reserves you can not participate?
It could potentially bring more people if it is allowed to have “up to” 4 reserves, but not necessary. If team shows up as 3 man - let them fight 3v4 isn’t that bad and it is their own fault for not coming as 4 or not having reserves. If team shows up as 2 disqualify them.
I agree on a size of 4, for this time zone that would be the best to go with and generate as many participants as possible.
Another thing i think would be beneficial is how you handle sign-ups, since the hardest part of organizing 4 man squad is not knowing if you can show up, it could be good to have a possibility for very-very late sign ups, BUT they have to be discouraged somehow (or everyone will just wait until the very end, screwing up organizers) So lets say “proper” signups are closed 24-48 hours prior the event, but late sign ups allowed until 2-3 hours before the start. make those Late signups fight more stages between each other or “qualifications” to fight vs “properly” signed up teams, or something like this, make it tougher for them, but have a chance open, it should provide more team participation overall, at least in my mind 
P.S. Does everyone on a team must be from the same corporation? (2 teams per corporation limit)
also would the matches be held on different servers? so the team get to choose 1 game each for their home server and maybe the last game is randomly picked

How was it during Iridium Wars tournament? I would vote in doubt to use the US servers. Everyone in the US already plays enough on servers with high ping.

That was was to get this started,i myself would love to see a 6v6 or 8v8.I think that would really open up the idea of team play and using one ships to complement each other.I think this game has a great set up now for bigger team play and would love to see that in this tournament.But we need everyone help to do this.We keep this a hot topic and get it some attention,we can and will bump the sizes of the squads.Nothing has been set in stone and this all depends on the players excitement.So let get fired up and get everyone on board!!!

just make it 4 people i mean that would mean it is basicly a squad tournament.
which is really nice for a lot of ppl who do not have 8 actives.
you should rather make the rule, that each squad *can* have up to 4 reserves.
it’s nice to be able to have the reserve play too, but it should not count any points.

yes your reading it wrong everybody can play aslong as u have a FULL 4 MAN SQUAD , all the reservers … is just optional if u only have 2 in reserve u dont have a second squad … meaning if u want 2 squads that play u need 8 people. if u only have 6 well then u have a full squad with 2 in reserve , in case … ( if u have 4 people waiting in reserve , why shud we not let them play aswell coz els there just waiting and complaining that they cant play… )
