turbophaser dxn

some people may know the “turbophaser dxn” as the weapon that biomorphs used to use, why not bring it back as an actual weapon?

an EM weapon for fighters, it has an unlimited firerate, but is semi automatic (fires once per click), the longer you wait before firing the higher the damage of the next shot (up to a 50% bonus)

 

so, what do you think? make your own suggestions for what the turbophaser dxn’s stats could be

Some mouses have built-in autofire button. Unlimited firerate is not a good idea.

Exactly.

Just set up a macro meeting quantum/mechanical restrictions and you are done, killing a dessie in (not even) 1/1mil sec

So make it a charge weapon with unlimited fire rate. Shooting faster just means more hits and not more damage.

But I’d love a passive charging weapon. Like the old shrapnel shotgun.

Charging should actually have less dps, not more

Or make it have a stable DPS no matter what. So charging longer makes it super powerful, and quick shots deal no damage but hit more.

“Charged” shots could fly slower and non charged ones could have crazy high speed.
