"Triage" security

After the success of the spiral, the empire was approached by a jericho tech startup looking to use their “shadow mine” blueprint in their arsenal. The empire was initially doubtful of “Triage”, however after a classified discussion, the empire agreed so long as they received a large cut of the profits and priority for contracts, to which “Triage” agreed.

 

A few years later, “Triage” resurfaced in a federation court where they asked for permission to test their technology on the patented federation frigate category. To which the federation agreed under classified terms. The most recent interaction regarding “Triage” was a conversation with the UMC, in which they asked to have their modules equipped on engineers, another classified discussion later the UMC gave “Triage” permission to run field tests with their mercenaries

 

Now “Triage” is requesting mercenaries to test their equipment, and will allow mercenaries to keep the finished technology afterwards.

give 100 missiles to allies using ammunition printer

deploy suppression drone 100 times

get 25 debuff asists using suppression drone

use suppression drone in pve mission: “Triage defense”

 

rewards:

paint: “Triage” (digital camouflage, mainly black and dark green, with a small amount of neon green)

 

 

Players can also participate in a new pve mission “Triage defense” during which they must defend a facility against pirates for 10 minutes, the enemies fought would be the same as in “ariadne’s thread”, there would also be side missions such as:

 

-turret testing

a turret spawns at the facility, the players must let the turret kill 10 enemies

 

-dirty thieves

destroy a pirate frigate using stolen “Triage” technology

 

-filesave

the players must scavenge files from a destroyed ship

 

-escort

the players must defend a transport that approaches the station

 

the 3 earlier mentioned modules are as follows

 

-multipurpose minelayer (engineer module)

spawns a mine that is very similar to the shadow mines and vigilant mines. rapid use, max 3 mines at a time, mines last indefinitely.

 

-ammunition printer (engineer module)

a station that gives missiles to allies withing .5km of itself. the station gives 1 missile charge to an ally, a player cannot receive a missile from ANY station if they have received on within 60 seconds. max 1 printer at a time, station lasts indefinitely.

 

-suppression drone (engineer module)

a drone projecting a field that slows and reduces the damage of all enemies within 3km. max 1 drone at a time, drone lasts indefinitely.

Very interesting concept, but i really don’t like more invisible mines (suprise! You are dead with no way of reacting!) and i dont think that there should be even more slowing fields around, as they make flying ma poor old wakiwaki r a real pain ![:(](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/003j.png “:(”)

regarding the mines, have you seen the damage of the shadow mine? it is pitiful, so dying to it will be near impossible, it is more a deterrent. as for the slowing field, it’s called a counter, I don’t recommend using this as a reason against a suggestion.

the main point to this is my lore suggestion, like fox’s vulpanium

If we can find low-selling loot more easily, we could make ammo like this out of it or not?

I kind of agree. We need an entirely new concept, not more of the same one.

what if the suppression drone shot down missiles? or acted as a bastion shield? or maybe just EMP-ed ships that came close?

how 'bout if the suppression drone rapidly fires lasers (360 rpm or something) in a long range (5km, the drone is meant for long range) however the drone has little to no damage (50-100 per shot, basically nothing) however the drone’s targets have their damage reduced by 25% for 10 seconds (assuming the drone can even hit them that often, the projectiles would basically just be weaker A1MA rounds, so their velocity would be really crappy at 5km, there, is that balanced enough for 'ya?)
