Get enough teams playing (these will be held every other week) on a consistent basis, and they would prefer 1 ship each THEN I will do it. Otherwise stays how it is.
I had a team together but since the time has changed massively, I have to re-check everyone’s availability. In theory it should be better though.
Please note that many of us cannot relate to Central Time whatsoever. I would post the event in at least 3 major time formats to ensure everyone can relate to it properly and people show up at the right time.
So the NASA team is signing up provisionally. If we run into issues we’ll pull out but consider us in for the moment being.

I was planning these for every 2 weeks. Unless the DEVs wake up, and fix MM I am not sure how much longer I will be playing this game though. I haven’t played since the day after they screwed up MM. I keep coming here HOPING that they will fix it, but the outlook isn’t good. Anyways, even if I am not playing anymore I will hold the tournaments as long as there is interest.
If you don’t play the game, how can you know how it is? Most of the complaining I’ve seen on the forums is from people who want to farm other players, not have competitive matches. Most of the rest were people just wanting to play with friends and not get thrown two tiers higher.
I normally play with friends. I even had a friend start playing right after they changes. Myself, a Corp Mate, and this friend ended up fighting T3 in the 3 matches we played (we were in R1 and R2 ships). My friend has since uninstalled the game, and I can’t blame him. Another friend who works 2 months on and 1 month off in Angola just came home. I had been talking about the game, and he was excited to check it out. I told him to not even bother now. I play a lot in Squads, and since doing so has a drastic chance of throwing you against ships 2 Tiers higher than you it isn’t worth playing anymore. Fighting 1 Tier up is fine, but 2 Tiers is xxxx just because of the Tech jump.
Anyways, the tournament will still happen, and I will hold future tournaments if everyone is still interested regardless if I still play this game or not.

so you have a team of 7 players but no captain, well just get another person to captain and its cool, this is for fun,last tournament we had a team flying t2s / t1s so we played them 5 vs 8 or something , to balance, we will drop our captain and we can play 7 vs 7, its a great chance for us newer players to get exposed to a different type of game , I hope from the experience in the last tournament that the game will have pubs which have separate ques for teams/squads, i found this type of play more fun / less time consuming than the mere sector capture. this could be a great e-sports game.
last tournament i didnt have fully synergized ships nor will I have fully synergized ships this tournament , and i can say the same about the rest of my teammates, this is for fun and for gaining experience so please reconsider
